Not bad at all.... But what a nonsense to combine 'Alpine' with 'Aryan'. I can't find any connectin between the band and any Nazi-stuff...!? Though the title 'Crystalnight' definetly reminds one of what happened in November 1938 in Germany.

The Lyrics seem very simplistic to me. An alternative interpretation might be: when people are teens they are cocky and act like they know everything and some people (in the USA, for example) think the time in the sun for them was their teens. Like the folks mentioned in "glory days" by bruce springsteen? "I was such a football hero back then.I had my whole life ahead of me" "Oh I was such a hot prom queen back then and anything was possible blah blah blah." Unless there's the outright message of destroying someone's way of life, burning their religious institutions, execution, I see subtletly and nothing more. Maybe the guys like snow and the whole winter olympics jam. Good for them. Is this a new band? I'd be curious to know why all the snow names recently--arctic monkeys, snow patrol, alpinestars....?! There is no Nazi connection for christ sake. I haven't heard this song in a long time, although not necessarily a bad thing.

People get a grip! I'm sure these guys are not white supremacists or anything. The title is just an unfortunate coincidence. You people display a total disregard for history by associating this track (if only faintly) with the Jewish persecution in Nazi Germany. That all doesn't save the track from sucking royally, though.

The "KRISTALLNACHT" was not just "blaming" the Jews. KRobyn is perfectly right with his explanation of what has really happened. It was the "beginning of the end" for the Jews in Germany and one of the darkest points in German history. The "Kristallnacht" was 1938 and this is nearly how backwards this music sounds to me. Uhhh... "Crystalnight" (especially with no spaces) is a direct translation of the German "Krystalnacht", which is when the Nazis started outright blaming Jews for trashing Germany. Couple that with the German (not to mention Aryan) image that "Alpine Stars" gives, and I have to wonder what the basis of this song is.

This is a good album. there are some great 70's soft rock moments intertwined with techno beats.

somehow i doubt the site those lyrics came from is native english-speaking. Also, on the album it's listed as "Crystal Night" (two words). I doubt it has anything but coincedence in common with Kristalnacht. more likely it's about wasting your life getting high on speed.
