Spanish songs in Andalucia
The shooting sites in the days of '39
Oh please leave the ventana open
Federico Lorca is dead and gone

Bullet holes in the cemetery walls
The black cars of Guardia Civil
Spanish bombs on the Costa Rica
I'm flying in on a DC-10 tonight

Spanish bombs, yo te quiero infinito
Yo te quiero, oh mi corazón
Spanish bombs, yo te quiero infinito
Yo te quiero, oh mi corazón

Spanish weeks in my disco casino
The freedom fighters died up on the hill
They sang The Red Flag, they wore the black one
After they died it was mockingbird hill

Back home the buses went up in flashes
The Irish tomb drenched in blood
Spanish bombs shatter the hotels
My señoritas rose was nipped in the bud

Spanish bombs, yo te quiero infinito
Yo te quiero, oh mi corazón
Spanish bombs, yo te quiero infinito
Yo te quiero, oh mi corazón

The hillsides ring with "Free the people"
Or can I hear the echoes from the days of '39?
Trenches full of poets, a ragged army
Fixing bayonets to fight the other line

Spanish bombs rock the province
I'm hearing music from another time
Spanish bombs, Costa Brava
I'm flying in on a DC-10 tonight

Spanish bombs, yo te quiero infinito
Yo te quiero, oh mi corazón
Spanish bombs, yo te quiero infinito
Yo te quiero, oh mi corazón

Spanish songs in Andalucía, Mandolina
Oh mi corazón
Spanish songs in Granada
Oh mi corazón

,"Guernica" is not in Barcelona, it is in Madrid.

I respectfully disagree.  This is classic Clash political ideology.  Anti-fascist, etc. Very powerful song.  If you ever find yourself in Barcelona, go see Pablo Picasso's "Guernica" in the Reina Sofia museum.  Or better yet, visit the town it's named for.  Incredibly powerful stuff.

No, it is not.  Spain is a monarchy.

Constitutional monarchy.  Important clarification.  And yes, Spain is a representational democracy.
{#Guitarist}Carajo que si, para Las Bombas Espanolas!

Yawnsville, not bad, nothing exciting. Yep, it's The Clash.

Try listening to the lyrics.  And the music.  Maybe that would give you a credible opinion.

You should listen to the version of Rio Reiser. One day he played a concert on his piano just for fun and it was released later on as it was so good. This was one of the songs.
Every song on this album deserves inclusion; despite the incorrect Spanish, in my not so humble opinion "Spanish Bombs" is the cream of this great crop. Now, if we can just smuggle "White Riot" past the self-appointed Taste Censors on the Listener Review Channel....
