I could show you in a word
If I wanted to
A window on a world
With a lovely view
From close up inside a single room
With an open book aside
Like you read in school
It's so easy, believe me
When you need fun
I do anything to turn you on
Anything to turn you on
It's raining in New York
On Fifth Avenue
And off Broadway after dark
Love the lights don't you
I could walk you through the park
If you're feeling blue
Or whatever
Spring Summer whenever
Winter through Fall
I'd do anything to turn you on
Anything to turn you on
I could leave you as you were
If I wanted to
Then I wonder is it fair
Now you're on your own
Who cares about you
Except me, God help me
When things go wrong
I do anything to turn you
Must phone me, you know me
When things go wrong
I do anything to turn you on

I will never understand those that don't relate certain times in their lives to certain songs.... I mean... this song just brought back so many wonderful memories....

And I love the way Bryan falls apart at the end - God Help me when things go wrong! Yeh I been there, but things are better now.

Bill, I do not share your love of Roxy Music.
This album came out when I was in university, which is damned lucky timing...

Utter schmaltzy crap.
Ok, so he would leave you if ... if   ... if ... come on man , make up your mind!  Geeze Louise, let's have some commitment to your commitments, eh?

This is really well thought out and executed.
A joy to hear.

I have to agree with the consensus...pretty boring

Couldn't agree more. Bleh! Weak. Almost smarmy. No, it is smarmy.

OK song from a great album.
Yes, you pegged it.
You know, if you combined this with ELP's "Still, You Turn Me On" . . . you'd have two sappy toss-offs from otherwise great bands.
Wow ... from 2004 to 2007 without a play? How could THAT happen? :) Great song; exceptional album.
Wow, this is pretty pansy.
Played this album over and over at my wedding reception/weekend after a sunset ceremony on the Galveston shore. Thank you, Bill...and Tom.....
Great Roxy Music
Still one of my favorite disks...I refer to it often...

What he said.
OK song from a great album.
I was introduced to this album by my older brother back when it came out- We were in his Porche 914 (Porche's crappiest model) I remember him saying, as he put in the tape, "You've got to heare this, there's not a bad tune on it." He was right.
Thanks for playing this. One of the first CDs I bought when the new medium came out. Great music and vocals.

I think its their best!

This entire album always reminds me of the dorm room of my first girlfriend in college. Had to force myself to listen to it after I kept finding her in my friend's dorm room. "I'm not going to let her ruin this album for me" I said each time I put it in the tape deck. So this album for me has gone from being: little known, to romantic, to painfull, to carthatic and is now just a great album.
Holy crap, 3 songs from 3 of my DIDs in the space of 1/2 hour. LOVE this record!!!
Great vocal, great bass, great lead guitar. Basically great. Really great. The drums are great too. It's great.
Great classic Roxy tune from a classic album! Why hasn't it been played yet till now? Can play more often!
may be my favorite track on this disc - excellent
