Break it down again
So those are my dreams
And these are my eyes
Stand tall like a man
Head a strong like a horse
When it's all mixed up
Better break it down
In the world of secrets
In the world of sound
It's in the way you're always hiding from the light
See for yourself you have been sitting on a time bomb
No revolution maybe someone somewhere else
Could show you something new about you and your inner song
And all the love and all the love in the world
Won't stop the rain from falling
Waste seeping underground
I want to break it down
Break it down again
So these are my schemes
And these are my plans
Hot tips for the boys
Fresh news from the force
When it's all mixed up
Better break it down
In the world of silence
In the world of sound
" No sleep for dreaming" say the architects of life
Big bouncing babies, bread and butter can I have a slice
They make no mention of the beauty of decay
Blue, yellow, pink umbrella save it for a rainy day
And all the love and all the love in the world
Won't stop the rain from falling
Waste seeping underground
I want to break it down
Horsin' around
Pray to power
Play to the crowd with your big hit sound
And they won't simmer won't simmer, won't simmer down
Play to the crowd
Play to the crowd
Play yeah yeah
It's in the way you're always hiding from the light
Fast off to heaven just like Moses on a motorbike
No revolution maybe someone somewhere else
Could show you something new to help you
With the ups and downs
I want to break it down
Break it down again
Break it down again
No more sleepy dreaming
No more building up
It is time to dissolve
Break it down it again
No more sleepy dreaming

Cold but technical

14 years later, still true
Love this more than you know.  {#Heartkiss}
+1 for "architects" in the lyrics.
Nice song{#Dancingbanana_2}{#Bananajam}
{#Cheers} nice to hear this ! it's actually a solo project, apparently the boys were fighting so only one of them is on the album ie see the one pic on album . overall front to back is good stuff
Interesting how these guys developed since, during the same era, Nirvana, too, was breaking through.  Funny....almost a polar opposite.  It's interesting how music oft-times has these "point, counterpart" bands.  Anyway, I don't care what anybody says (heh) Tear's was good back in the day.  Regardless what you might have thought about early 1990's "pop."  And some of their stuff still holds up today.  As has Nirvana's.  The point counter-point juxtaposition is alive and well.

So it goes.

Unless this has to do with "hot tips for the boys" (I apologize in advance).

Also love any song that mentions architects.

Haven't heard this, not bad.
I simply love this song! also the video! ^_^
So far, always glad when this comes on. That's not true of most songs.

LOL. I hear that too. Regardless, always loved this song.

brings me to some summer time fun in Hermosa Beach Ca.. listening on my Sony Walkman.. Very nice place
Let me break it down for you.
And the 80's are back again... and I kind of like it!
Best T4F is Seeds of Love (album) as far as I'm concerned, but they had a great run up to this album. I saw them on this tour at Universal (now Gibson) Amphitheater. Great show.. much better than I expected.. and they closed the encore w/Badman's Song... That just rocked. Quite likeable!

Ultra-true, UltraNurd. Total buzzkill.
Looks like this is one of those love it/hate it songs (and in general, one of those love it/hate it bands). Although I think the lovers are winning in this particular case.

It's headstrong like a horse, although I think hung like a horse is way better lyrically of course. :)
Quality song, lyrics and rhythm!!
This is truly brutal.

Thanks for admitting that. I'm glad it's not just me!

I'd say it is their best work since "Songs From The Big Chair". T4F ARE a big production studio band.... they always have been. To say their work is overproduced is like saying the Pixies use distortion. It is a given. But if you like the songwriting beneath the production, then it shouldn't matter. Go to www.cdnow.com and check out some samples of the songs...

I bought it and was extremely disappointed. The vocals were not as tight as this album, the songs were a bit trite and over-produced (which is ironic considering the amount of production that went into previous TFF albums).
I always considered this song a 'nerdy song' but I like it anyway =P
Has anyone heard that new album? Is it any good?
When it came out, I loved this song. It's far from my favorite style of music (not to mention song) these days, but it says something that, despite its radio airplay at the time, I haven't grown tired of it. There are plenty of oft-played songs on RP I can't say that for.

Um......No.
Blechhhh.
I LOVE TFF so I'm glad to hear some. However, this is not my favorite song of theirs. I think it's pretty lame in comparison to much of their stuff. Hope to hear some other tunes!

Good job playing this song. I've been wanting to hear this song for months and now Radio Paradise plays it; this made my day :) Guess we can count on Radio Paradise to occasionally play a good song that everybody else has forgotten. ~David
IF ONLY THEY'D play some Neil Young
I'm game to hear ANY Tears For Fears, especially from the Roland-only days. Raoul and the Kings of Spain and Elemental are mui excellente. Thanks for playing this awesome song, and feel free to break it out again. I, too, recommend going to TearsForFears.net. There are TWO excellent songs that play in their entirety when the site is launched.
Great song, great band..... check out their new web site and listen to the new single from the upcoming CD with Roland and Curt back together again..... www.tearsforfears.net
A number of great tracks on this album. "Dogs a Best Friends Dog" and "Fish out of Water" are tops IMO. Great to hear it on RP!
