Well, I LOVE this song. And this band. And y'all are gay for saying all that stupid stuff.
I like the song musically, however, as has already been said, the lyrics leave a lot to be desired.
I agree with the Mike Doughty comment. I thought it was him when I first heard the song as well. However, I don't think he's aweful. I like a lot of what I've heard from him.
Sounds like Counting Crows...which is not a compliment in my book.

"I can't guarantee that I'll be there" and "I can't guarantee I'll be true" but "I would die for you..." ??
Now maybe it's just me, but given the choice between a faithful lover and a dead lover, I think I'd have to go with Curtain A, Monte.
Of course, on second thoughts, I suppose an unfaithful lover might as well be dead, so... hm. Sure. Go for it.

The hook reminds me of Tonight by Smashing Pumpkins.

Then Chili's must be using some damn fine jingles these days!

gee, now there's a unique sentiment...
i'm sorry, i know it is just pap-pop, but you can only hear the same drivel about love and such so many times...
the writing just doesn't hold up. now, compare it to Joni...

I agree about the orchestration--nice stuff, though the strings are pushed a little hard for my tastes.
Well, they are the PUSH Stars...

To me, that's not necessarily good or bad. Just made me look.

Actually, I was thinking Eddie Money, but I like your singer better. ;-)
Decent tune.
I really like this song. Really.
Argh. I uploaded several songs by these guys from their earlier albums (Meet Me At The Fair, Tonight EP, and After The Party) a while back, but all three submissions got Heismanned. Great band that is definitely worth a listen, especially if you can find any of their older stuff.
Anyway, glad to hear them on RP!

Yes, I heard shades of Soul Coughing and... well... Eddie Money. 8-<
But I like it just the same.

I think that the arrangement is far better than the vocals. I love the music.
Awesome! Love these guys!
Another great song from a great band. Be sure to catch them on the road (or online www.pushstars.com)!
