Wading in a sea of lilacs
Praise you in a shroud of violets
Dew is resting on my eyelids
God is smiling now
Wading in a sea of lilacs
Praise you in a shroud of violets
Honey-running through me

Wading in sea of lilacs
Praise you in a shroud of violets
Dreaming, swimming in my eyelids
God is smiling now
Honey-running through me

You may possibly be the most radiant thing
You may possibly be....
Honey running through me

Honey on a Lion's tongue
Honey on a Lion's mane
You have the most beautiful name
Running through honey
Slow

Went from a 3 to a 2
trippy to say the least
Is there another version of this song?
Is this the theme to MST3K?
OK, time to move past the first verse now...

I just keep seeing a poor lion trying to lick that sticky honey off of his mane, which of course he can't reach.
Oh, POOH!
Ah, what a welcome reprieve from that demonic Icelandic crap that preceeded it. Have we found out what makes the monkey dance yet?
anyone in new york area?
Venum Hum=Awesome. Saw them open for BMG in L.A. As always, thanks Bill.
This rhythm rocks - have you guys heard of "8bitpeoples.com"? They "play" ACTUAL gameboys, NES, Atari, etc with ROMS specially designed to exercise the sound cards on those systems. That way they can compose using the sound generated by those systems to create a very unique sound. Check out their website - the "Trash80" album sounds like this song, and is great.

This keeps getting better the longer it goes on. Great production. Has a sense of drama. I just upped my rating to an 8>
I would argue that it is over-produced. I would have preferred to have less over-dubbing and effect on her voice... The synth at times is ok, but at other times it reminds me of why the 1980's ended with 1989 - by that time we had all just had enough of the decade....

I thought we all agreed that random beeps and boops do not music make back when the Commodore 64 fell out of favor.
Her band of geeks randomly plays laptops.

girly.
Is this bad? You seem to imply that. Personally, I like girls. As for Venus Hum, I find their music refreshing, and not the same old stuff. I guess I like poetry too.
Does anyone else find it funny that cataloger and DMD said exactly the same thing?
More bleeps & noises needed! Vaguely reminiscent of 'State of Independence' at first, towards the end a bit towards NIN.
Sounds like someone took a terrible poetry reading and added a synth to it. Very pretentious and girly.
I love how her voice sounds like it is liquid and the aural effects mimic the imagery. Great depth of sound on this. Sensual and rockin at the same time. Very nice.
