My love, you're tired and it's late
But I have to say what I have to say
I am not clear if you still want me near
If you do, please let me know
I'm no longer waiting for tomorrow
While there's still time left today

If I go
You'll be with me
If you want me to stay
We'll fix whatever's broken
Wherever I go
I'll be with you
My love's deeper than the sea
And taller than a mountain

You held my life
On a puppet string
I have no secrets from you
Tell me my love, is it still good enough
If it's not please set me free
You're nonchalant, you're drifting with the breeze
Now won't you listen to me please

If I go
You'll be with me
If you want me to stay
We'll fix whatever's broken
Wherever I go
I'll be with you
My love's deeper than the sea
And taller than a mountain

No longer waiting for tomorrow
While there's still time left today

If I go
You'll be with me
If you want me to stay
We'll fix whatever's broken
Wherever I go
I'll be with you
My love's deeper than the sea
And taller than a mountain

This is like the essence of distilled mediocrity. It sounds just a million other equally boring, uninspired songs. A waste of bandwidth.

The Mona Lisa's sister doesn't smile when she hears this song.
Did anyone else think this sounded like it was from a Karate Kid movie?
thid guy sounds a bit like the singer from Crowded House. I don't remember thinking that Men at Work sounded like Crowded House, though.

I like the track "I Just Dont Think I'll Ever Get Over You" but listening to the entire CD is pretty sickening if not excruciating. I'll second that.

I liked Men At Work back in the day, but I think I prefer Colin Hay's solo work. Good stuff.
This one is OK, but I don't think it's among Colin Hay's best. How bout "Overkill" or "Waiting for my Real Life to Begin"?

Something about the singing reminds me of Sting. Anyone else hear that?
Yes. Both have a sax-like quality to their voices. Though, I find Colin sounds closer to the guy from The Beat/Specials.

I really like the way Colin produces his music. Sounds like he has good ears and cares a lot.

I put him up there with Sting as a favorite. But I hear Colin.

I've liked Colin's work since the beginning. The warm quality of his voice evokes much.
So far I like the solo work I've heard.

Yes.

Saw Colin in Rockford, IL at a small venue this year. Sound problems caused him to eventually tear off the ear piece and just play. Awesome accoustic renditions of solo material and old tunes, including "Blue For You." Missed him in Milwaukee, darn it. And the Fixx on the same stage that night. His two solo accoustic albums are great.
He put on a good show at Summerfest this year. Dan
Very strange. I uploaded a number of CH tracks from this fine album, but they got the RP Finger. This is a good track, but there are better on this CD and his others. "I'm Doing Fine" is fantastic.
