I sat out on the grass
I looked in through the door
Same as it was before
So I'll try to get some sleep
I'll try to get some rest

I guess you'd never know
I think of you all day long
I think of you all day long
I think of you all day long
So try to get some sleep

Look up at the sky
And drive a little more
And make room on the floor
And try to get some sleep
Try to get some rest

Sounds like Julianna Hatfield. Nice.

Sounds familiar 'cause it's the Pentatonic scale, the basis of most rock and blues leads. Still very cool. That's why it works.

Yeah, a bit the The End and - oddly - BRMC. But I'm sure this song predates them ??

Yeah, unless BMRC has been around longer than I think.  Madder Rose was early 90s.

My fav Indy band. Mary Lorson is still around, as Saint Low. Going to watch them next Tuesday, in Ithaca, NY.
Wow -- haven't heard this in ages. Will have to dig it out of the stack of CDs. Thanks.
Wow. I never dreamed I'd hear Madder Rose anywhere besides my own music collection. Very cool. I'm always impressed with RP.
Nice little song. Its different, yeah, but that doesn't make it bad.

hauntingly enjoyable guitar playing - maybe derived from something else. . . maybe so iconic it just sounds familiar. . .
"I think of you ALLLLLLL day long" seems to go on all day long.
What's going on guys? The play list this morning is full of this kind of stuff: fingernails on the chalkboard stuff. Something wrong in Paradise?

Ladies and gentlemen: Kip Adotta (remember "Wet Dream"?) Well, I knew there was going to be trouble, and so did Gil, 'cause he was already on the phone to the cods. The haddock hits me with a sucker punch. I catch him with a left hook. He eels over. It was a fluke. But there he was, lying on the deck, flat as a mackerel. Kelpless. I said, "Forget the Cods, Gil. This guy's gonna need a sturgeon." Thanks, trek. ;-) Likeable tune.

I think I like this. not sure, but think i do

I'm always a bit reliefed to know there are still bands in the "classic" line-up that seem to have gone directly from the garage to the recording studio, their heart in the right place.
Unfortunatley, check out the date it was released. I don't even think this band is around anymore.

Sure sounds 90s.
delicious.
i like the cymbals and the overdrive guitar. nice sound.
She sure sounds a LOT like Juliana Hatfield... ...not that there's anything wrong with that. Kinda cool, IMO. Q
not spectacular
It is pretty good, but nothing great
Cool. Breeders sound with a little more tonality. Sorry I missed these guys. Thanks, Bill, for the turn-on!
