In the corner beside my window
There hangs a lonely photograph
There is no reason
I'd never notice
A memory that could hold me back

There is a wound that's always bleeding
There is a road I'm always walking
And I know you'll never return to this place

Gone through days without talking
There is a comfort in silence
So used to losing all ambition
Struggling to maintain what's left

Once undone, there is only smoke
Burning in my eyes to blind
To cover up what really happened
Force the darkness unto me

Glad to hear they have a death metal side because this is wuss rock.

Wrong.  Sufjan Stevens is wuss rock.  This kicks more ass than a butt tattoo.

Listen to it on "In Live Concert at Royal Albert Hall", followed by (the even more awesome) "Harlequin Forest".
More Opeth on RP please!
this whole Album is Godlike - I don't allow any other opinions! (2)

Of course we will never hear the powerfully death-metal side of this band here
I for one would prefer to hear the powerful death-metal... I find this track a bit weak, but then ballads are always a problem for hardcore metal bands. Oh well.

Glad to hear they have a death metal side because this is wuss rock.
