Shit. No, wait, diarrhea.

A great debut album - his sophomore slump was epic, though. Still like this a lot.

{#Smile}Ahh.

I like it.  Improves with each listen.  6.

decent song - but vocals suck sorry, but they do - clear your voice and sing already - quit raspin' and croakin' your way through this thing - it's painful....

I didn't realize this was American Idol.  You must hate rock & roll.

Pete
Pete has been playing catch-up to his debut. Love this song and this album. Every other one seems to a step behind.
Man, haven't heard this cut in a couple of years. Good tune, great album.
What a great CD.
Couldn\'t place what movie (Bandits) I heard this in (thank goodness for Google or it would have bugged me all day). Very funny movie IMHO
Just another girl...
can't believe I missed this song....just by a few minutes.....I love it...

anyone else hear the song 'Hallelujah' in this?
Close. Hallelujah(Buckley version anyway) is in the key of C using an orchestrational chord with the bass run you are hearing on the 5th (A) string and this sounds like it noodles around a Bflat bar chord. It stopped playing before I thought about the last part so I don't know how he was playing the bass run. I never heard this before unless it was here when I wasn't paying attention.

He's still around. Just saw him play in Atlanta a week or so ago. He played a lot off this album, actually.
His out on the road in support of his recent CD "Nightcrawler," which is finally starting to get some airplay a few months after its release (I think "For Us," was just added on RP). Excellent CD by the way.
I really wouldn't know a whole lot, but chicks would dig me more if they knew I had this disc and played it for them.
anyone else hear the song 'Hallelujah' in this?

Funny. You can interpret that in two ways.

Ditto! I haven't listened to it in a while, but quite a lot when it was released.

yet another one that's reminding me of "Lotta Love" by Nicolette Larson, maybe...

Such a lovely song. Had not heard this PY song before, may have to pick up this CD :)
i really like "strange condition" off the album the best. this is a close second though.
I like this, but damn... a little Prozac might be indicated ;)
Thank goodness for Pete Yorn. His album came out in a year when I had given up on anything decent hitting the airwaves - even the alt. rock stations were playing crap. The single got a little over played but I didn't blame them.
This is so catchy (as are most songs on this record) I think I sang it for a week after the first dozen times I listened to it. Great track. He's a great writer and real decent muscian - on any instrument.
wonderful record

First time hearing this from Mr. Yorn. Liking it. A 7.
play more pete yorn pls!!!!!!!
Awesome - thanks for reminding me of this fantastic album!
Great song from a very solid debut work.
