Won't you let me walk you home from school?
Won't you let me meet you at the pool?
Maybe Friday I can
Get tickets for the dance
And I'll take you, ooh ooh

Won't you tell your dad get off my back?
Tell him what we said 'bout Paint It Black
Rock and roll is here to stay
Come inside where it's okay
And I'll shake you, ooh ooh

Won't you tell me what you're thinking of?
Would you be an outlaw for my love?
If it's so, well let me know
If it's no, well I can go
I won't make you, ooh ooh

Yet another lame cover which as brings nothing to the party. Bill, play more Big Star, not this schite. And not just Thirteen. Jeez!

So many ‘Covers’ are in fact just copies. However Kathryn has taken this song and made it her own producing a splendid cover!

Elliott Smith does a great cover of this Big Star original.

Yes he does, probably my favor, but I don't think I've ever heard a cover of this I haven't loved.

Interesting concept for RP THEME DAY... Play original THEN cover of tunes , throughout the day, compare ratings. Back to back. Call it CoveRPlay day...
Jeff Tweedy used to do this one in his solo shows. I didn't know of this version. Like it.
Not bad. I do prefer the Big Star version, but this is a worthy cover.
Interesting cover of a Big Star song.... Thanks whoever uploaded this!
