Here I'm standing on the seashore
She is gone, now she's gone
All the angels praying for me
As I fall, as I fall

While I'm melting in the rain
Deep in pain, she is so far
Will we ever meet again
As friends, after so long?

To my nightmare with the devil
I'll go strong, I'll go strong
All my friends now try to save me
What a joke, what a joke

While I'm melting in the rain
Deep in pain, she is so far
Will we ever meet again
As friends, after so long?

While I'm melting in the rain
Deep in pain, she is so far
Will we ever meet again
As friends, after so long?

While I'm melting in the rain
Deep in pain, she is so far
Will we ever meet again
As friends, after so long?

I bet he'll get plenty of apps ! Deadwing wrote:
SW said in a recent interview that he wanted to take as much time off from PT as possible the next year or so to complete several projects that have been on back burners and to get his private life back on track- the last 2-3 years he has been so involved with PT and Blackfield and mass touring that he felt his personal life was suffering. He even mentioned jokingly on a Scuzz TV interview that he wanted to get married this year and have kids next year even though he had no idea who the lady involved might be and he was accepting applications for the position

Steven Wilson turns 40 today! Happy Birthday and best wishes for a great year!! (and get your personal life back on track!!! ) *hugs* Relax a bit. You've earned it
What personal life? I've always been curious. It's the music and amazing talent that is the attraction but I can't help wanting to more about anyone I admire. What's your source of information?

Clearly a song full of emptiness... poor choir... the guitar saves the whole thing at last... NEXT!!!

What a most excellent set...I'm still reeling from the great songs. Blackfield - Pain The Real Tuesday Weld - Turn on the Sun Again Euphoria - Fire In The Hole Pink Floyd - If Fontaine - Running on Empty Tom Petty - Saving Grace Robert Plant - 29 Palms
Began the day at 08:49A with Balckfield "Hello" and ending it with Balckfield "Pain" at 05:09P.
Not my favorite off the record, but as a whole its quite a good work. New Blackfield album comes out next month in the UK/EU, and March in the States.
Blah.
Kinda has a moderate Placebo sound to it. Not bad.

This kind of music always instantly catches my ear. Is that because I am a depressive?
Me too hippiechick. Not sure why. Although I am feeling a bit down in the dumps today so this song is suiting me perfectly!

Listening to this song reminds me why its so good to be old and just really over all the self inflicted pain.
Funny how placebos work on surprising number of people... lixy wrote:
Can't help but associate that to Placebo's early work; Only not as good!
Just like Porcupine Tree, but whinier and less imaginative. Unless the goal of the song is to induce pain in the listener's ears, which is what it's doing for me. Ugh.

I could only bear this song for a few seconds. Rubbish. No más, por favor.
I came in here to see if anyone else thought this reminded them of Porcupine Tree. Little did I know!
New Blackfield album due later this year, along with a PT live DVD. Lots of great new stuff from the brilliant mind of SW.
Where's the love (ratings) for a Porcupine Tree side project?! I love it.

Suggestion for next song: Morphine - Cure for Pain
Followed by Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb.
Wow, Porcupine Tree and the side projects are going to seriously deplete my bank account. I have been nothing less than very impressed with their music.
Suggestion for next song: Morphine - Cure for Pain
Hmm, pleasant.
Another one of the great side projects of Porcupine Tree's Steven Wilson! Five stars!

well now that the new PT is out - may we pls get a sample (hint hint) I heard it was to harsh.. should I invest in the CD?
BEN ZONA! I can't belive it is on RP! (getting grips..) ok then, I must admit PT kick ass , and some of Aviv lyrics are nice, I don't like the mix. But I must give it up to them - for scoring air time here. Niv
Like it!

I love anything that Steve Wilson does, and this CD does not dissapoint. It is more calm than his Porcupine Tree music, but just as brilliant. Can't wait....only a month before the new Porcupine Tree CD comes out!

WHAT!! Now you are actually playing a song CALLED "Pain"?!?!?! Is this the masochistic set? PLEASE get out of these doldrums! What are depressive songs good for? I do not want to be brought down. WHy are you doing this to us?? :-s :whip: :verysorry: Please consider the emoticons above to have been applied to the rest of this set by iimputation!
Rather Coldplay-esque, but rather enjoyable just the same.
Really like that e-bowish Big Country sound at the beginning. =RR=
