  Hearin' that, too ... nice piece to watch snowflakes drift across a grey sky ... {#Meditate}

I'm sure anyone's seven year-old daughter could play this. If coached by an American-Idol mom/dad.  Let your kids grow up normally, okay? Don't push them to be something they might not want to be. {#Doh}

Having said that, I like this song. I'll probably hate it if it shows up on some reality show with children who should be playing with kids their own age instead of griping about the color of their eye shadow.

I fear for humanity.

Sounds like Moby's signature tune
Fits nicely into a pensive day...

Really? I thought this sounds like The ama chorea exactly of JMJ 's "Oxygene"

Not very inspired indeed.

Awesome. When's her first release? What label?

I love you Miss
More stuff like this. I like it.
I actually like this mix better than the one available through her website
Thanks for playing this great song Bill.     BTW, the correct name of it is Mama Cries.

She can probably paint a picasso as well?

This is a really rough version of this song. The remix on iTunes is faster and much more polished.

You're right..."Surrendered" is a different song by the same artist: https://www.amazon.com/Surrendered/dp/B0011U06RA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1249679251&sr=8-1

Whatever it's called, I still like it.
NOTE:  i just checked www.lastfm.com
this song is entitled Mama Cries, not Surrendered.

Well put your 8 year old to work then!

Ugh.. can't wait for this song to be over... will it ever be over?

Simplicity / not over done can be quite beautiful.

I'll add myself to that minority.

Miss Moby?
Lovely piece of music; thanks R&B!!
awesome, haven't heard this in a while!  {#Clap}{#Sunny}

Really nice.
Reminds me of my own style...produced on fruityloops, perhaps?

Cool stuff! I bet it was done in the software Reason. I can't wait for my copy to arrive!!
One of the first tracks I heard on RP for the first time and loved and .... I still do!
extrodinary..very nice music..take flight..
guitar patch sounds like a 1980 Casio.
Lovely.
beautiful peice.. .
Makes me feel like I am on a train in the Apls.
It sounds like music you would here on the menu screen of a video game....something that could loop indefinitely as you pass out at 3:00 AM...
Although meandering at points, losing all the momentum it builds up with over-synth, there are some really moving moments to this. Definately some Moby in there, as well as Conjure One / Rhys Fulber type breaks. The echo on the piano is just plain cool. How did I let this one slide by? Bill, I'm buying this one right now. I'll send your regards. Outstanding artistry.
Even the drums sounds out of tune.
It hasn't stopped?
Please make it stop
This is not rubbing me the right way at all. . .
sounds like an extended version of Faith No More's "Epic" sans the dead fish
Just Boring, repetitive DRECK
pretty good
totally monotonous

Meh
Sounds like Yanni mixed with Moby hehe
If I was coming out with music like this, my mama would be crying her eyes out!

A bit 'lite' and manufactured, the sort of thing you'd hear in upmarket furniture stores as background muzak. Reminds me of Jean Michel Jarre but without even the tiny edge that his work had. Inoffensive stuff which goes in one ear and out the other.
I just prefer music done on stage - or at least by hand. I'm sorry, folks. 4pt
Very nice. Good production on the piano--some homages to Moby, New Wave, and a Robert Miles-ish use of melody and tone. Not overplayed.

agreed - could be the copyright-free demo song included with some sequencing software package

beautiful...

This sounds like a slowed-down version of the background to Finley Quaye's "Dice." Fortunately, I like that song, too.
I like the movie-end feel of the last few tracks. Sometimes it's just nice to hear some evocative instrumentals. Thanks for the build-up and wind-down!
Dude, its an indy recording from Milwaukee. If anything deserves to be overplayed, this is it. Its not like this is U2 or something. Very nice song, and not at all overplayed. stickers11 wrote:

I still like it... it's one you have to experience & there are NO words to taint the experience.
Nooooooooooooo, too boring!
we're getting the newage treatment, aren't we?

pretty much what i was thinking. i feel like i just watched the dramatic ending to a movie with the lux, then the credits started rolling when this started.
new and enjoyable... to me at least.
I thoroughly enjoy this one; start to finish. It includes a little bit of near everything. Luv it.

For a second I thought this was the Van Halen song that comes right before Jump on 1984.
It's nice to hear an instrumental tune from time to time here. thanks!

This or the Kronos but not back to back. I hate it when Bill goes on one of his new agey-instrumental jags.
Hunh. I just came on to say that I needed this after that Kronos. Just goes to show ya, one man's poison is another's pleasure. By the way, Kronos tends to be a little...strident, but Lux Aeterna was a bit over the top even for them. Must be the movie influence...?
Just what I need to keep me from going postal at work. C'mon 5 o'clock!

Bill, stop the insanity.... all three of the last few albums sound so wonderful I was absolutely compelled to add them all to my Amazon.com shopping cart!!! You are going to be causing "issues" between my wife and I!!! - Miss Chaos - Mama Cries - Kronos Quartet - Lux Aeterna - Garbage - The Trick is to Keep Breathin

Super Sweet!
I am having a Tangerine Dream.
sounds nice ... imagen to listen to it laying on a beach ...
doesnt it sound like a kind of Verve Bitter Sweet reprise or something?
This would be a great movie soundtrack - you know, where other interesting things have your attention. Without it, it feel a bit pointless.
Very nice song, and certainly not overplayed.

I'm puzzled by the large amount of airplay this song has received in the past year. Seems to be the default selection whenever the RP mix needs to wind down a little. I'd personally prefer to see other subdued songs get a chance.
I like. I gave it a 9.

Pure fluff. Sounds like Ms. Chaos took a "Cakewalk for dummies" course. It sounds like a Yamaha keyboard demo, indeed.
Mike Oldfield, tubular bells did it best! But this is still pretty good.
Cool tune but way too overplayed. 'Nuff already.
There's something about songs like this with no words that says so much more than 'traditional' music. Music is already great with associations, but songs like this the associations are that much more meaningful and stronger. Mama Cries would probably be just another pretty song if it didn't cause me to think of someone I really care about every time it comes on.
