it's because they can't sing - they don't have singing voices because your friendly riaa and its members who control the lion's share of the recording/radio world groom acts based on looks and 'sellability'. they're supposed to be musicians, right, so of course how they look is more important than how they sound having said that, it happens also that a lot of people love that whispery sound - look at the popularity of sarah mcblah-again

Enjoy the veal.

Unfortunately, what it reminds me of is half the songs I've heard on RP recently. Even though it is quite nice, especially after he stops singing. Am I starting to burn out on jangly guitars, synthesized harmonics and breathy vocals? Might be time to take a break.
I was about to write the same thing. What is happening to contemporary music? Why are so many people whispering instead of singing? I don't get it, and I wish my favorite music station would stop playing so damn much of it. "Mildersoap" is right too.
most excellent!
Resplendent!

Many years ago a friend of mine would say, usually about once a month, that her Aunt Flo was visiting her. And yet I never met her. I wonder if she's related to Sister Flo.

I would have expected a song with this title to be a little more interesting . . .
ok, it's not enough that here in these comments I have to read bashing of Radiohead, Pink Floyd, the Dead... but now mocking white bread?! It's too much!
I enjoyed that from start to Finnish.
Just fantastic!

Anytime you need a break from the main playlist, there is always the LRC. I've found that I spend most of my time lately over there, as opposed to the main playlist which contains a lot stuff I am starting to burn out on.
