I was thinking the same thing...
Based on the lead-ups to this song you guys mix it so well!
getting Rob Zombie vibes during this
Not a bad musician but he appears to be a turd of a human being
I was shaving and had to stop and wipe my wet hands and give this an 8. Mind you I only really heard the last minute or so, but hey, that last minute was pretty darn good.

It's been a year! Don't keep us in suspense! Was anything happening?!?

I'm digging this cut today, have rated it a 7 previously, and well maybe it's the sunny Friday in the Seattle area......bumped it to a 9 today and will have to play this on the big system to know for sure....still....Long Live RP!!

I had this at an 8... but it ramped up and those darned dancing bananas started boogieing around my studio and I just had to notch it up to a 9.

And it's not even particularly sunny here in Guelph today and no big system to crank it on.
But it's a fine uplifting tune to help keep the Covid Blues at bay - Long Live RP indeed!

I don't remember how I got it, but I have that soundtrack on CD. Solidly good on its own, plus it reminds me of playing the various missions. A brilliant game.
Thought this was NSYNC when it fired up

That's what popped into my head, but I'm not sure.

Now that's a great Ian Brown album

Happy when this starts. {#Cheesygrin}

Happy when this is done...
Now this is a SET.
You've changed directions after immersing me in nostalgia of the best kind, but I'm still with you.

From AMG  "The U.S. edition of the album includes one song that was included as a bonus track on the Japanese edtion of Solarized ("Happy Ever After") and one unique bonus track: "Lovebug" .
DittoWhat's going on here?

It's called a set. These songs work together, thematically and/or musically, so Bill keeps them together. The order of sets switches up, and Bill also swaps things in and out of sets as new songs become available or old songs get tired.

I'm loving this! has it been in anything else? I can see Laura Croft or an Ocean member running around to this

It doesn't have to be, does it? I mean, if the playlist were random, it would be your ipod, right?
Don't break a good thing...this list is working for me! bdblinux wrote:

I would like some peyote coyote to enhance the songs

So? Some really good music has come along with videogames. I'm still looking for a copy of the soundtrack from Outlaws.

Listen to the music found in the first version of Homeworld if you want a fine example of solid music in a video game.

You gotta love a song with a title like that one.
Hey! This track isn't on my copy of this album! I heard one reviewer call this one of the worst albums of that year. I never got that. I love it.

Moving! If you enjoy the orchestral elements to his stuff, then definately try music by E.S. Posthumus, found on cdbaby dot com. One of their songs from "Unearthed" was used for the intro to Cold Case on CBS. And yes, I agree, there is some really great video game music out there. Just look at any Final Fantasy, Panzer Dragoon, or Halo. If you're a gamer, or interested at all in that which is not three guitars and drums, then this music grows on you quickly.

For what it's worth, there is some really excellent, even award-winning music out there that was written for video games. I am by no means an avid gamer, yet some of the more famous themes (original MIDI, techno remix, orchestral arrangement, or other form) are quite recognizable.
Garbage. This is music for a friggin video game.
it's okay every now and then...but...
Cinematic! Me likey. Dynamic. woot.
I love the man to death but this sounds like Jamiroquai.
Another soundtrack song ... minus the visual interest that allows it to make sense.
Great driving music. Glance in your rearview mirror...I'm gaining on you.
Reminds me of the soundtrack to the "Italian Job" by, I think, John Powell. I can almost feel the spray made by the speed boats slashing through the canals of Venice.
Once was probably enough, didn't need to hear this one again.

I like. Reminds me strongly of Trevor Jones' score for Dark City.
The first rule of Fight Club is, you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is, you DO NOT talk about Fight Club.
Not bad, seems to have borrowed from Juno Reactor's "Masters of the Universe". Its growing on me pretty quickly, but its too short.
definitely going to have to add this album to the wishlist.

Makes me feel like I'm missing a visual, like I'm watching Mission Impossible. How come we don't hear more of Kamen??
I miss the Stone Roses... but I still enjoy Ian Brown... I'm not sure about this tune though.
One of those you feel sorry it has to end. Thank you for another find, Bill! Love the interaction between strings/orchestra and electric/acoustic guitar. Reminds me a little of Kamen and, before him, Jan Hammer of "Miami Vice" fame.
Stressing me out, man...
very cool indeed
Wow, I like it!
This sounds far too sinister to have been done by someone with the name Ian Brown...
this makes me feel paranoid! like I should be checking over my shoulder every minute for 'them'

Do youself a big favor and check out The Stone Roses the band Ian is famous for fronting.
This is definitely an improvement on his earlier stuff ...
It's got a bit of a 'Matrix' vibe to it... Very racy... I like it...

Monkey Man, I'd like to see Ian and Mick play together. I reckon he'd get him to scratch like Keith does :whip:
Not bad, gets the blood flowing a little
Nice guitar groove going this AM!
