Touching down it's a frozen town
Look around I grew up I fell down
Nothing changes nothing changes
Except the red lights
Nobody changes nobody changes
Wanna see them tonight

Everybody gather 'round
Everybody drink it down
I'm feeling like a one-legged man
Always made to take a stand

Any day now it will come

I walk in and just laugh it off
And all the heads turn
Familiar faces help me shake the cold off

Everybody gather 'round
Everybody drink it down
I'm feeling like a one-legged man
Always made to take a stand

Any day now it will come

It sounds like bullshit but you ever notice
This whole town of ice and snow
Gets you running
Chasing something
What it is I'll never know
Just hope one day that it shows

Any day now it will come

Why can't Bill get this stupid song off the rotation? For god's sake: "a one-legged man, made to take a stand!" Only this and the Willie Nelson pseudo-reggae make me take off my headphones and wait for the next song.

You're quite right. I like Guster so I found this song very enjoyable!

Anyone else notice that the opening bars of this song are a rip-off of "Eye in the Sky" by the Alan Parsons Project?
Sorry, I don't agree. Dumb song; dumb lyrics. Even for a rock song the line: "I feel like a one-legged man, always made to take a stand" is quite inane. I had to take my headphones off until this one was over.
Decent song, hard to differentiate from most of what is already out there though. Almost an 8, but not quite... very solid 7

My upload! The Watchmen were another terrific Canadian band that was virtually unknown outside this country. Silent Radar is an excellent album. I'm really glad to see this added.
Congrats for getting the Watchmen on RP. Personally I prefer the stuff off their first album (even In the Trees is okay) and then they got a bit blah, IMHO. I'll have to try uploading some. Good to hear them anyway. TJ
