i love this guy, even though he accidently broke the arm of a friend of mine's sister when they were kids.
I don't know what a basehead is, but this is a fun tune.
Love it!{#Guitarist}
Corey is a gem of a performer who plays his heart out and drips talent, go see him when you can

Floyd Fest - Day 2

This is Corey Harris, performing on the workshop porch.

A bit squeaky in spots.
Blues with my greens. Awesome, especially with the Louis Prima segue. Great contrast.
I'm lovin' it!

I love Radio Paradise, except that there are a set of songs that I can't help but rate Suck-o Barfo. This is one of them. However, the good like the Dylan and the Shins songs you just played more than make up for this. Difference in tastes I suppose?

Wow - this is EXACTLY what I was thinking.....!!  Had to log in to rate this a suck-o - not liking this set

Totally cool.  And the suit and wild hair are, well, wild.
Fun.
Not one of his best, but his mid-range stuff is of a higher quality...
Extra points for the cute smile and funky dreads.
This should be named "BASSHead" ... great bassline putting down the base ... :-)

Hmmn. Just done it again. Does this mean that all those honey-voiced "DJs" aren't really there at all?
Yeah, Bill's got his nerve-we want him here LIVE 24/7 to entertain us. LOL

Well, now that we're well off on a tangent from the song I can't resist letting this one out of the pen...if a pig loses its voice is it disgruntled?

Ya got a point there. Bill's roots are showing I like this song, by the way.
this is not good.. simple as
Well, alright now. Wakin' me up.
Great! Yet another gem from RP! Cover reminds me of a Peter Tosh album..........
Never ever heard of this guy before; bit a this and that, yet it stomps royal!

Did Corey Harris do a great job on the Scorcese directed blues program on PBS or what!! More Blues Please!
I was going to make the same post. Just as well I scrolled down to check first.
Sweet!! I love it!!
Wish I was standin' in that field...

Is it me or does this guy sound like the voice for Schoolhouse Rock's "I'm just a bill, yes I'm only a bill."? LOL
Hahaha! Definitely the first thing I thought of.
Smokin!
Whew - just when I thought I was losing my edge, it's good to know I can still enjoy unpleasant music! 6 EDIT 7 bothanesque wrote:
Seems like there hasn't been a single song on RP that is actually pleasant to listen to.
After this, we need some Tarbox Ramblers. Note to self. Upload Ramblers....
OH,YEAH!
Fun!
This is one of those sunny day, windows rolled down kind of albums. Corey is for all of you who tire of the "faithful to the old masters" tradition.

I always have trouble confusing Corey Harris with Corey Glover - name only, certainly not musically.
Or Corey Hart for that matter.

Damn you! Now that's all I hear too!
I bought his debut, Between Midnight and Day, on a chance when I found it in the bargain bin. Turned out to be a real gem.

"you step on that crack dragon, don't you know you going lose?" "murder in your town., ...'nother good brother shot down." Hold on! Now, this is up and moving. Good blues. wake me up
Does this song end? (11/10/03 - Seems like there hasn't been a single song on RP that is actually pleasant to listen to. What a great way to start the week.)

I agree. Nice little riff.
Not bad. I love the blues. How bout some Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, Buddy Guy, etc. etc.
Nice little riff.
