The fighting was the heaviest you've seen in Sarajevo.
As the police station commanded by officers loyal to the Muslim government
president Izedbegovic.

Men tried to find what cover they could asbullets literally kicked around them.

We are free to be freed.

Wow from this to The Beatles — Within You Without You, now that is some thoughtful programming!!!  Killing the segues today Bill (or Rebecca:)
Thank you
I like the stuff I've heard here on RP by this artist; very cerebral, very meditative, yet quite timeless and hip. As noted by others, that verbal time-keeping notation is often heard in classical Indian music — Ravi Shankar did it a lot on his wonderful album, Tana Mana...
Great!!!
Pathetic. Below RP standards.
Sounds like Rolf on wizz

Oooooh, wow man
I can't help playing some serious air tabala to this.

One of my desert island songs. Sublime.

Another fantastic introduction for me to a great band by RP. Thanks
The piano reminds me of Tori. Not sure if that's good or bad...but its a nice mood, for sure.
I first heard Nitin on Trance Planet #6 -- a nice, mellow listening disc.
Very nice.  Like Afrocelts, only a little more emulsified.
this.is.awesome.

THIS is why I listen to Radio Paradise.   11pm in the good old UK and where else would I get such an eclectic mix as I have over the last four hours.   Nowhere except RP.     Thanks Bill.

Do you know Fred from Nottingham?  Surely you must....

Music is good.. I like it...

Radioparadise keep rocking....

Great daydreaming music!

This would be alright if it wasn't for the god-awful percussion.

I thought that was the best part...

This would be alright if it wasn't for the god-awful percussion. Ruined :(

I love it when people misuse the word literally. ''As bullets literally kicked around them.'' I think they only figuratively kicked around them. David Cross does a bit: ''Yeah, man, we laughed until we literally shit our pants.'' ''Ew, gross. What did you do?'' ''What do you mean? We laughed!'' ''No, I mean about your pants!'' ''My pants?'' ''Yeah, I mean, you said you literally shit your pants.'' ''Yeah, man. No, I mean we didn't ACTUALLY shit our pants. We only literally shit them.'' By the way, now we can say shit with impunity. The President of the United States of America says shit in casual conversation.
No shit? Really?
superb!

How about some Massive Attack?
TURN OFF THE BREATHING LIGHT AND GO SLEEP.
Ditch the rabid dog panting and I am all for this.
The incorrect use of the word ''literally'' in the opening news track reminds me of a David Cross bit: ''Yeah, man, it was so funny! I laughed to hard I literally shit my pants!'' ''Really?'' ''Yeah!'' ''What'd you do?'' ''Whaddya mean?'' ''About your pants?'' ''My pants?'' ''Yeah, you said you shit your pants.'' ''Yeah, man! I said I literally shit them. I didn't say I REALLY shit them! Gyah!''
Lovely, just lovely.

That always gets me
Why haven't I ever heard this before? It's been around for a couple of years on the playlist. ...Well, backscrolling, I see, from the paucity of comment dates, that Bill probably hasn't been playing it very often. So.... why not?!? I think I must buy this CD if only for this track! I LIKE the panting dog!

Oh my goodness... it drew me over... "I have to find out what this is". I've heard Nitin teamed up with other artists before, but this is amazing. I hope the rest of the cd is just as delicious. Ridiculous beats.
A tiger in Arizona ... not quite your natural habitat! I too came running to see who this was. Great song ! ! ! Once again I have to say thanks Bill and Rebecca. I can't believe I had never heard this before.

gimmie a break (beat)
Is this the same vocal guy who does Euphoria's "Blue"?
Adding this to the list...

Right on!
Relax... Breath in.... Exhale.... Relax...
Love Nitin Sawhney! Mellow drum&bass music with a world flavor. Stings too! RP rocks.

Ecleticly true! Go RP, Go!

I hereby dub this hyperventilatory.
Like a snake charmer, drawing up the energy and mysteries of the univese.
four cups of coffee + this song=
I like it, kind of dreamy but with drum and bass...
A lucious cacophany of breaks and melodies, quite soothing if you ask me. :)
Not bad, except for that stupid panting dog that keeps interrupting!
Noise!
Seems alright to me, a nice break from thinking....

Yeah, I know. Drum & Bass. It's an acquired taste... ;)
I usually don't like this kind of thing, but the first 20 minutes were actually OK. But now, in hour 3, I'm getting a little sick of it.

Melancholy is a good word for this. I'm giving it a 2 right now because I don't want to be melancholy, damn it!
I liked it until the sixteenth-note drum line started up. Then it began to make me feel all nervous and edgy. Or maybe that was the double espresso. 8O
You know, if someone described this to me, I would assume I would hate it. But I don't. I think it's quite lovely, and even though it doesn't have lyrics, it reminds me of Kate Bush's "The Dreaming". Very melancholy.
I know this, i know this, but where oh where from? loving it but will save the rating till i hear it all
