@William - you should play this more often!
That "harmonizing" is just plain painful. The girls voice sound like it could be fun but the rest of it is annoying and the song just can't decide what direction it is going in.
Wow, all the skill, vitality, and beauty of Nickle Creek's earlier stuff just totally _TRASHED_ here. There's nothing even remotely interesting, attractive, or even mildly musical about this garbage. It sounds like something someone threw together with their toy mixer in their basement. Repeated lyrics over and over and again with no variation or arrangement? Yuck! These are the same folks who did the Smoothie Song? Sheesh.
Kind of sounds like Bif Naked at the beginning. Kind of sounds like crap.
Wow, this really sucks.
Sara Watkins sounds a bit like Juliana Hatfield on this track, which isn't a bad thing imo.

Tegan & Sara ?
My thoughts exactly.
nice track. :)
Not a tuneful song at all--sing-songy and repetitive. The female lead sounds grating and piercing. An irritating song. I had thought I liked this group! Fingernails on a blackboard.
I hate that so called harmonic chorus! Did they write this song in 10 minutes??

Is it me or does Nickel Creek sound like Guster with a female singer? Great track, though.
Make that an annoying, bitchy-sounding female singer!

Three 9' s in a row! KUTGW! NC - BOL CB - L RH - SBMOS
I really like these folks. It seems like they've gotten a little more edge since Alison Krauss is no longer producing them, not that I don't like Alsion Krauss or their previous albums. This is an excellent song, please play more of them. BTW, I'm in love with Sara Watkins.
Tegan & Sara ?

My daughter and I went to see Nickle Creek this past Monday evening in Lexington Ky. An amazing show. Do not miss them if you have the opportunity.

And then he plays Guster... I thought it was still the same song at first...

Bill said it sounds like a cross between "Allison Krauss and Union Station" with "No Doubt". I'd have to add a heaping helping of "Tegan and Sara", which appears to be one of Bill's favorites, these days.
and a dash of "Fleming & John" and "Guster"

Nickel Creek is a really amazing group of talented artists. They've managed to assimilate so many different musical styles into a style that is quite unique and very enjoyable. I hope they continue to make music for many years to come.
This group is so tight, every album is better than the last. They just keep getting better and better. Such good stuff, I am loving this!
Great CD. One of the best I've bought in any genre this year.
