Having spent your entire life
Exactly where you are tonight
In the valley between intent and deed
You must have mastered this
The fragile art of a good excuse
The little things that get you to believe
That get you to believe

So listen, I'm not trying to prove anything at all here
But don't you think that maybe, this time, you were wrong?

You've spent your entire life
Quick-tongued and always right
Hasn't being right just let you down?
Right just lets you down

So listen, I'm not trying to say anything at all here
There isn't much left anyway, that hasn't been said
But don't you think that possibly, this time, it's different?
Don't you think that maybe, this time, you were wrong?

Very Dandy Warhols...and I do like it - start with a "7".

LOVE OK Go. I do. however...

on the rock mix, this is the 2nd OK Go song in the last 2 hrs (11/8/23)  and that seems excessive and unnecessary considering how many artists and songs are in the RP library.

Played today:
A Million Ways
Maybe, This time

this is not an isolated incident. it happens with many artists every day on this mix. what i mean is the repetition of same artists being played daily (Black Keys, Led Zeppelin, Arctic Monkeys, Talking Heads, REM, Midnight Oil, U2, Elvis Costello - all bands/artists i like, by the way) as well as the same songs by the same artists being repeated twice, three times, often 4 or more times a week seems...bizarre. i've been running a spreadsheet to track this phenomenon. i get there's lots going on behind the scenes at RP these days, but when is the focus going to get back on the mix/music instead of, for example, hiring someone to update the wikipedia entries about the artists (when anyone who is interested could simply Google an artist for the wikipedia entry if so inclined). please, can the focus get back to the music that brought us all here to RP in the first place years ago?

100%

I agree with everything you've said here.  I miss the RP of yore.  lol

It can get aggravating if you listen as much as I do.  Meh....

I noticed that there's a new, replenished global mix.  Maybe the rock mix will be next. *fingerscrossed*

They. Just. Kill it! JAM! Makes me want to hear some Spoon!
7>8

i like this band more and more.
I was with Right once. The silver lining is I truly empathize with others caught in the cycle.
makes me think of the dandy warhols, sounds good.
Not a song you hear often from this album. Great!

Also... I fear this was OK Go's last solid album. After this they tried to get a little too cutesy.
The more I hear this tune, the more I like it!  Thanx RP!
The videos are amazing.
Good track, thanks RP !

I love how this makes me wanna rock out to some killer Spoon. I do think this is a groovy, similarly innovative group -- and thanks, RP!
Their songs are meh, but make sure to check out the video clips, those are awesome.

Later Warhols… not their earlier stuff.... which I'd love to hear more of  on RP!

wait... you mean we are supposed to take their music seriously??   I thought they were just about outstanding videos ! ?

nice bass line..........
This tune is VERY Dandy Warhols, but quite likable nonetheless.
I'm not one for focusing on music videos, but these guys have some of the best, funniest, low budget vids around. And good tunes!

{#Roflol} Or the dyslexic pagan who sold his soul to Santa.

I sure like this OK Go band

Dandy Warhols
I like Ok Go's more upbeat songs, but this is pretty good too.
OK Go news here
You should look on youtube for OK Go's performance with Bonerama...

How is the rest of the CD, anyone know?

I checked it out from the library and listened to it for couple of weeks. Now it's on my "to buy" list. Lots of good, guitar driven, intelligent, poppy songs.

I bought it, expecting to love it, and it has yet to make it into regular rotation in my CD player. Then again, I jumped on board with this album. Perhaps if you've always liked them, this album would be considered awesome. All in all, I give it a 6/10.
How is the rest of the CD, anyone know?

If you're into the iTunes thing, it's only $9.99 there.

Much preferred Pazzats' comment to the song..........

Whenever I think something to myself about a song on RP, then find the same comment already posted, I feel the need to go ahead and note my agreement anyway. So... agreed.

Welcome to the club! Although I'd probably leave out the BeeGees and swap in someone like, um, Happy Mondays! Which is playing now - woohoo!

Not the best song on the album but good to hear OK Go on RP. The first album is better IMHO
Off early today, to make Ok Go at Phillips. Gotta make it there by 530.
no wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy , no no no no no..

I don't know, it seems a little boring.
I found out on Friday that they are comming to Atlanta, and I already had tickets. I was offered "Killers Tickets" and I was persuaded to go, after looking at the concert I get Jet and ok go. Woo Hoo. Dec 8, Phillips Arena.
alot like spoon, but that's a good thing.

In 11 years it is going to be 1984, man. ...THINK about that.
Does everyone on RP have to sing in some kind of a talk/whisper??????????
sounds like a rip-off of that shivaree song at first.

This comment led to my introduction to YouTube-- now my husband can't stay away from the website! Great video, I must say! Most entertaining one I've seen in eons!

I've shown everyone I know! What a clever video! His sister choreographed it. I saw them do it live, which means that they can make it all the way through on one take.

this band spelled backwards is OGKO

The cover is (well actually was) really cool. The real cover is just a red and black paisley block, but the shrink-wrap on the CD was all blacked out except for the clear 'ok go' that you see at the top of the page. Shame that the shrink-wrap wont fit into my CD book like the insert will. Oh well.
I think I like these guys, heard another song of theirs....hummmm
This bass line kicks so much ass.
Nice.
I thought it was the Dandy Warhols too. AMG seems to list different personnel for the two bands, but the vocals sound nearly identical to me...

Heh, I was just sitting here thinking this is what the Dandy Warhols would sound like if they mellowed out.
Reminds me of great old Cars...
Nice song and the baseline is very similar to a Red Hot Chilli Peppers track 'The Bridge', which is not bad at all - :P
good good... kind of has the catchiness of franz ferdinand but way more laid back. i like this type of music :)
A Dandy song, I'd say.
I have never listened to this band untill I heard them on RP. I enjoy the shoe gazzer popness of their songs. Kind of mellow with out the sleepy.
Hmm...I like the bass line.
