No, there was just the Bosstones, who sent them a cease-and-desist when they tried to use that name. So they changed it. Then the Bosstones broke up, and they thought they could go back to the Bosstones but really what's the point.

??Billy Idol had a motorcycle accident in 1990 and as is so often the case, evidently really liked his pain meds. He did sober up, but hasn't done anything at all significant since the '80's.

Dicky Barrett (singer) had the morning radio show on Indie 103.1 here in Los Angeles earlier in the year until Michael Steele got rid of him. He is the announcer for Jimmy Kimmel live. I'm not sure what happened to the skankin' "Bosstone", although one member plays with 'The Toasters' and another has a side project called 'Avoid One Thing'. Most likely they'll get back together again at some point down the road for a album/tour.

Haven't heard this one in about 6 years, since my days of SKA band fanaticism. Toad's Place, New Haven, CT, first concert ever - Spring Heeled Jack opening for The Bosstones, amazingly enough a great concert.
