Seen them 3 times, they are great,  hopefully they come back soon.  Three different singers whose voices totally complement the songs they sing.  They really rock live.

Suspenseful intro (I'm interested).... followed by ... banjo (I'm confused)... Enter husky rocky voice (feeling encouraged)( ... then it starts to flow (still not sure where about the banjo).. nice sound wave to end it off (no closure on the banjo for me)

Still out there. Saw this band at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass last October. Very enjoyable, although the crowd was too self-absorbed to listen much. This is a weakness of outdoors festivals, but the band was great (when I could hear above the chatter).

Couple years back my granddaughter and her cousins wanted to do the "Disneyland Experience" in Anaheim.  I'd just as soon stick an ice pick in my eye, but since the kids really wanted to go, I tagged along.  It was as weird as I feared, but then I saw there was a House of Blues in Disneytown.  There on the marquee: Gomez, Thursday Night!  Let's just say that seeing them was the high point of the visit for me. They were fabulous live.   My granddaughter loved Disneyland.  A good week.

I'm with you. I'm generally willing to give any song that's well received by the RP audience the benefit of the doubt, but this just sounds a little too much like the complaint rock I didn't care for in the late 90s and early 2000s.

I love this song!

So true...such a sad commentary on how some of us deal with relationships in general.

I daresay that is too narrow an interpretation by Stevo: the bango can sound alternately jaunty and fun—-then ominous and haunting. Listen to Zep's Gallows Pole. The mandolin also falls into this category of being alternately upbeat/sorrowful.

This song is an example of a tune that I LOVED SO MUCH at first and it slowly grew somewhat stale for me. Seems as though the songs that have more longevity to me are the ones that I slowly like more and more as I hear them...This one was great right away...and it has since succumbed to the fate I just mentioned.
