I want to settle this bet and I
Don't want your shoulder instead
The minor tough's walking past again
A pure extension
Yeah

Reach in your pocket and pull out the pantleg of hate
Reach in your pocket and pull out the pantleg of hate

The hardcore will tell me not to say so
But now Keora where did your sadness go
You know I would go try and get through to you
If you weren't down at the back room
They're standing up the block and down the street
And they'll be out all night yeah
As I'm out in the car it comes to me
They're breaking up inside

GOOD TUNE!

RP needs to play Beck (I think I have heard zero Beck songs here) ....

You need to listen more - go to Music, Search, and type in Beck. He is very well represented on RP. I think I hear him just about every day.

If you ever get the chance to see Spoon live, you gotta do it! They played angsty jams like this all night in Tokyo & I'm glad I was there

I saw them open for Beck last summer.  They were both great!
Super cool man  : )

The Minor Tough is a major talk.
I love the guitar in this song.  I haven't spent much time trying to analyze it, but it's one of those songs that just makes no sense to me musically, but sounds so damn cool.  Like what are those chords?
Never heard this track....I like it! And...I fully appreciate the "eating cake with a spoon" - well spoken!
To me Spoon really is a topclass band, getting better and better over time.
Gaah.

Gif of George Clooney looking shocked, then doing double take
(George he ain't gettin' it but I see what you did there)

Yeah this album has some good stuff on it...and this one really stomps it, on many levels...killer orchestration, sinister sound, totally cool!
  yah, that.

This is far better than the buzz band of the century "The Arctic Monkeys" with a similar sound... no?

Now that you mention it, I do hear the similarity.

sorry again kids but these humanoids need more drugs of simply to close their spoon holes
Thank you Bill for playing a different Spoon song!! {#Tongue}

Let's rename this LP as A Series of Snacks, in that case.

This is cool, but where is all the chick music today?{#Daisy}
It's official: I really like Spoon.  You have finally won me over, RP.
Yeah, love that Cake-walk intro, wow! and the screaming guitars jam up a dull gray day quite nicely!  More Spoon, please!
I thought this was Cake at first. It's like eating cake with a spoon.
A good song, but I like their three more recent albums more
I am ashamed to admit I've lived in Austin for just about as long as Spoon has been together, and only just now appreciate them. They have been the quintessential 'next big thing' FOREVER, but hadn't broken through the 'just another band' barrier until recently. More Spoon please. Which came first, The Tick or Spoon? Spoon's bumper stickers were the same color as The Tick. Coincidence? c.
I see dionysius and The Tick haven't been here, yet. SPOON So glad this is on RP. I've been hearing about this and other Spoon albums since I picked up Gimme Fiction. Several folks tell me they really like Sneaks. Heard this playing from the next room and had to come check it out. Looking forward to hearing it again. More Spoon, please.
Spoon is indeed a great band.
Personally I don't think this is their best album. Spoon is however an ausome band. Check out their other efforts.
Superficial comment: The cover design is cool...I only know "Way we get by," not sure about this one
This is far better than the buzz band of the century "The Arctic Monkeys" with a similar sound... no?
