Instant like
Warms sounds on a very hot day in Toronto.

On the basis of this soporific number, I think I'd prefer a fake Tuesday Weld, preferably one with some joie de vivre whose get up and go hadn't got up and gone. 3 from the narcoleptic Nottingham jury {#Sleep}

Maybe where you are. Unfortunately, we have not had a good ski season in ten years here.  But then, that's purely anecdotal information and I would understand if you didn't take it seriously.
Warm sounds.

No sun here in DC...12 inches of snow expected tonight...brrrrrr...they are saying this is the coldest winter on record

It's highly likely she was just being facetious or employing verbal irony for a humorous effect.  Even pretty women make jokes sometimes.  I guess some humor gets lost when written out.
With rain 13 of the past 15 days , the whimsy of Stephen Coates' song seems less whimsical and more like a shared plea.
This sounds pretty good right about now.

very good song, well done

At ludicrous speed, you can get there faster, and in style...plaid.

Bought this CD after hearing cuts her on RP and, well, it's not one I listen to every day. But when I'm in the mood (try building AJAX for a couple hours and you'll see what I mean) it's a nice change. A+, will listen again.

They should have called the band Wednesday Weld.

not bad; kind of the blissed out song that i used to listen at 5 am sitting outside in Taichung, Taiwan across from the Pig Pen at a groovy little outdoor bar called Soundgarden

I haven't tracked down this album yet but I have a different one that's just cool to put on for dinner in the yard, watching moths flit around the streetlight... it's light and cool.

Bad synthesized euro pop complete with breathy, nonsensical lyrics. Dreadful. Simply dreadful.
reminds me of Yo La Tengo...

It is a satirical stream of consciousness word picture of Ms. Tuesday Weld's unfortunate lifestyle.
But when this first started in my ear I had to look to see if it was some really old Tangerine Dream. But Yo La Tengo is probably a bit closer I agree

A good segue from the Morphine track, but almost too obvious. They owe a lot to Morphine. But still, a 7 for starters.
hmm, I think he needs to visit Phoenix, Az ;)
Clearly a song full of emptiness... NEXT!!!
Catchy name -- Tuesday Weld's hot, The Real Tuesday Welds not -- this is a 4 at best.

from a 7 to an 8
Yo La Tengo has done this sort of vibe for years ... dont know if I dig this or not Ok I guess

This song is growing on me (like a song— not like mold) I had to reach over and crank the volume, which is why, when I listen to radio pradise I get so little work done!

Reminds me of a certain Vera Moda Sweater liking the memory! songs ok too
I think I know the answer to my own question below: When you're horny, you'll overlook almost everything about a potential mate until it's too late.
You wanna know what the real Tuesday Weld thought about music? When she was married to Pinchas Zuckerman, violinist and now the conductor of the National Arts Centre Orchestra here in Ottawa, capital of Canada, she replied to her then-husband when he said he was off for an evening of conducting, ''Why would anyone want to hear a symphony more than once--it's always the same?'' Dally with--don't marry--cute white bunnies--unless you're a silly rabbit yourself.
Hearing this song prompted me to realize that I frequently only take time to rate the songs I really like because they get my attention more, whereas I tend to tune out the weaker selections. I need to also rate the lame songs. This is a good one to start with.

Wow, someone here just over a month and already with almost 1/3 of his votes a 1 lending advice. How novel. Maybe you'd like to give RP a little more time before you give the fatal diagnosis? In the meantime, very interesting band I seriously have never heard of playing a seriously likeable tune. Thanks, RP, for introducing something new.
