Hawley seems to have charmed the Belgians. Happened to enjoy the man and his band in concert in the Botanique in Brussels October last year. I like 'm and I like the Ocean.
this is a beautiful song from a fantastic album, why doesn't anybody see this

Agreed. But even though Leonard may not have the best voice at least his lyrics are at least very interesting. This song goes nowhere...and the ocean doesn't cut it!
I can understand how the repetitive nature of this song can drive some people nuts. Oddly, I kind of like it.
Make it stopppppppppppppppppppppp

That's pretty funny. I don't completely agree but - funny.
Truly spooky, weird, wonderful, moody track, in a kinda mystical Van Morrison/Nick Drake/(later) Talk Talk way. A delicate sort of song that will no doubt soon be taking a beating from the physicsgenius-type scoffers and blasphemers. But this song is stronger than doubt.
I've never heard this guy before. He's not as bleak as L Cohen. I like his moody voice and the big production background.

Not so good....I thought this was Billy Idol turned senile.....no thanks. How'd this one get past the LRC or did it??
