John you've been on the go ever since you were born and I
imagine few people in the world today have travelled as much
as you have. Now why?

Well I dunno.
I suppose some of us are cave dwellers, some of us live in houses, some of us like to be loose footed.
I'm a ramblin' man.

I'm a ramblin' man.

Just booked a flight to Mongolia and this came on.  I have loved this song for many years.  Great to hear RP playing it. Great back story on it from wikipedia.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramblin%27_Man_(Lemon_Jelly_song)

The music's cool, right enough, and I should like this as I do a hell of a lot of hillwalking, but I don't think the talking works. Maybe I'm a miseryguts, but I always figure that if there's a voice in a song it should be singing (a major reason why I loathe rap and all its derivatives - learn to feckin' sing, guys). The posh interviewer's voice grates as well - it sounds a bit like Dan Snow, well-known to UK TV viewers on election nights ("just a bit of fun, that's all it is"). Who's the 'rambling man'?

Nice, like Air
Very, very good.  So smooooooth !

I agree. And I hope that bowel problem clears up.

Yeah; not so much at first but I got sucked in! I am liking it, insouciance songified :-)

Interesting, different...

As a ramblin' man myself, I LOVE this song. :)
