Flowerparts is a great song, but not Bob's best. Try Mudhouse, Big Blue Sea, Long Way, I'm Good Now, Gold In The Sunset, Round and Round. Bob is still better than 95% of what is out there

I just saw his show at the Saxon Pub just over two weeks ago. It was a great show. He was in a good mood (got to talk to him after the show). And his banter with the crowd and the rest of the band is really funny. If we still had variety shows on TV, he should have one.

First time seeing him live was at Saxon Pub (yup - Austin, TX), which rocked.
Just caught him here in Indy at "Music Mill", which used to be Discovery Zone. Think McDonalds indoor play area on steroids. lol
No trace of chutes, ladders and little colored plastic balls, but the set was great.

I saw him at SxSW once and he intoned "I wrote this really beautiful song..." before starting to play...my pal and I looked at each other, and started patting ourselves on the back and laughing at his lack of modesty. Decent set though, but hard to hear due to the chitchat of the 'Laminate-people'...Industry types using live music as the background tape to their cocktail party... not that I'm bitter or jealous or anything...

I just saw him live last month for the first time...I'll definitly be more than happy to see another show! I'm not wild about this newest album though, this particular tune is ok...His album "I'm Good Now" and his live shows is where its at...he does a lot live that isn't on any albums.
