Free is pretty solid too. This is certainly not the best track on it. There are others that would fit right in on RP...

Are you the famous internet web cartoonist Randall Munroe?

Well, at least you're consistent:

Sounds like they are marching in lock step formation - kind of like "turd blossom" and his minions.

...this sounds much more like chroma key than OSI to my ears...

I love this band, amazing/interesting musical collaboration.  They new album BLOOD just came out last week, and  it is very impressive as well.

"Big turd".....I like that....till now the only turd I actually heard was Mr Hanky!..I guess if he could play bass it would sound just like this.

Well, I see the word "layer" in that article a few times, so I'll guess you're a baker. Who specializes in cakes. Layer cakes. Yeah.

That initial guitar riff is straight out of a Primus song.

Cool but challenging stuff. Hard to take for some conservative ears obviously. Both their albums feature Steven Wilson and Mike Portney.

There are a lot of song out there about stalking...this one is my favorite.
Sounds exactly like Porcupine Tree! *g*
Coulda sworn this was Beck--the somnambulant and endlessly repetitive vocals, bland instrumentals, and so on. Might as well be Beck.

Liar! No way you could've been the umbrella man AND on grassy knoll. Now, deal!
Pretttty Goood A!!!
\"Once\" reminds me of Eno\'s \"This\"; is a story brewing?
Meanwhile shifted: 7 -> 8...!
Holy cannoli, Billman! That segue was so seamless I didn't even realize the band changed...
Gawd, Winamp finally starts up and suddenly I hear this music bouncing from ear to ear in my headphones. Disorienting.

YES! Eliminate the negative; Accentuate the POSITIVE
Wow I thought this wasa part of the RJD2 song, and I was like...well "Wow", but it's just another awsome segue from Bill. Thanks if it had been the same song I would have rated it a 9, but now I know it's two different songs it goes to 8 and 7 respectively.

Whoa! Mostly like the psychological and self-hypnosis tool called "Hemi-Synch" made famous by the GRILL PLATE experiments of US Army Intelligence back in the 1970's. The left side right side makes me lay down on the floor and have a nice vertigo session. Electronics are great but kind of wished this was a no-voices piece.

I thought I was still listening to the previous song before this one started playing.

I do like this description of OSI from their website: "OSI is a project with band aspirations involving Jim Matheos and Kevin Moore. ... OSI plays well with others, including Mike Portnoy on both albums, Sean Malone and Steve Wilson on the debut, and Joey Vera on the new one. Neighbors describe OSI as weird but polite, mostly keeps to itself."
Once is enough.
This sounds like a blend of Tangerine Dream/Kraftwerk/Prodigy mixed with bathtub farts!!!
Cool. I love it.
curious... would like to hear a few more tracks off this album.
meh
interesting...
Nice stuff. So I wonder what "OSI" stands for? "Oh Sod It"?
"Office Of Strategic Influence," I guess this is the from the new album. It's Kevin Moore's project, former keys for Dream Theater. First effort had Portnoy on drums and some other prog guys. Good stuff.
Office of Strategic Influence Haven't heard this one before, but some of their other stuff is pretty good.
Unbelievable! My best friend JUST played me this CD last night! I had never heard it, but was impressed. I said to him, let me borrow that CD so I can upload a track or two to RP. Hahaa...too late.
i think this band does the intro for CSI... *snicker* *snicker*
Intriguing.
