People would say, why do you release it anyway, if you don't really rate it? The answer is, whatever music it is, bad, good, indifferent, stupid, boring, whatever, – it's truthful. You guys just pulled off an absolutely beautiful and incredible and flawless transition to this song from Nellie McKay (w/ K.D. Lang) -You Had it Right.  That was just fantastic.

Interesting shot on the album cover - Kowloon waterfront, somewhere between the railway station and the New World centre, looking across to Causeway Bay and North Point, Hong Kong Island.  Used to run along it every morning.... long time ago, different life.

Shame the music doesn't actually measure up to the view.

heck yes, Vini Reilly. This is a wonderful Durutti song. For some reason it has me in the mood to hear some Felt. something off of Ignite the Seven Cannons, or Poem of the River. for some reason hearing Vini play guitar also makes me want to hear Lawrence too. Maybe it's just me...

This whole album has been kind of a revelation for me. Truly amazing music. "Nina" is of course the standout track, but this one is very good as well.
