Yoksa, I'm not sure where did you get that this is Serbian music? At best it is West Balkans (i.e. Bulgaria/Romania and yes some parts of Serbian or more correct "vlaska" music). 
You can actually hear Russian language in the background.
But no worries mate, not looking for an argument, simply stating.

Last year I have visited Moscow and their Museum of Cosmonautics, and in there they have small cafe, like a dinner type with the deco from that era. At the table next to me there were two British students who asked waiters if they can play one song and this was the song they played. Such a fun !

It sounds more influenced by klezmer music than it does Eastern/gypsy music.  It's obviously must more electronic than Gogol Bordello.

I don't hear the similarity with Gogol Bordello, there is no energy in this song and it doesn't make me feel like jumping around and staying all night out.
It's repetitive, quite basic and slow. There is a slavic sound yes, but it's not the same as the balkans.

I dislike this song. Dislike it quite strongly. It reminds me greatly of They Might Be Giants, whose redeeming features in my mind involve anything to do with Skip, Fast Forward, Play Something Different, or just plain Off.

It seems to this musical ignoramus that the vocoder is used for effect in this song, which is a musical satire on the Soviet personality cult of Yuri Gagarin. The guy is supposed to sound like a spaceman, after all.

In general, I hate the vocoder, which has come back with an unpleasant vengeance in mainstream pop, but IMO it works in this song.

This smacks of a local band up here in CowTown, Plaid Tongued Devils. They had an album (and a play to go with it!) called In Klezskavania, which was their term for their type of music.

Klezmer mixed with Ska mixed with a general eastern European flavour they best described as Vania.

This song sounds Klezskavania to me!!

One of the coolest things I ever saw was the Yuri Gagarin monument in Moscow.  I lived close by.  He was the first man in space and is a Russian national hero, as he should be.  Great man.
