And almost a year later, Personal Jesus follows this song...how about that?

Never heard this before and really enjoyed the first listen as well.
Good dense noise, love it.

Sounds a lot like Primal Scream to me, but am digging the really gritty bass line.

unbelievable. download the demo of the arp2600v from arturia: https://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/products/arp2600v/intro.html install it and hold down any key. the bassline of this song is just the FIRST FACTORY PATCH that comes with the synth. they didn't even bother editing it, or even skipping ahead to say, patch #2, they just took the first sound the synth makes when you turn it on and built a song around it. that's pretty cheesy, if you ask me. kind of like buying a picture frame at wal-mart and just keeping it on your desk with the picture of the family that it came with...

Nah. They took a shitty frame and put a nice picture in it.Justified the frame...a little.
Wow , haven't heard this in a while.

Amazing what singing into a can can do?

And what's the deal with that Beethoven guy? He used the exact same notes as JS Bach! He didn't bother to make up any new ones or anything, just shuffled them around a bit.

How come indie bands all have a sound-alike quality?  Are they all from Indianapolis?  {#Stupid}
Ooh, hello! Nice band that I've never heard of....makes me wanna get up and dance.
What a great start to this tune, and a miserable follow-through.  Disappointing.
Blasterpiece
At first, wiff, thought this was something from Atomic Bomb by U2.
that is what I expect from RP...
rock on, bill
Sounds like "Garbage"...

The Amazon link leads me to "Johnny, Cock Thy Beaver" — hmmm... there is humor in the cosmos...{#Dance}

At last! I thought my luck was really out this evening with nothing above a 5 for over 50 minutes, but then along comes a solid 8. RP does seem to go in phases - sometimes it's 7 or more for an hour or more, which makes it a pisser trying to leave work, sometimes it's wall-to-wall ho-hum, though usually more of the great than the ho-hum. Long live eclecticism, though :)
Mari wrote: Wow. I wish I liked the song as much as this picture :-)
The melody of the vocals reminds me of the verses in Smells Like Teen Spirit. The strong, catchy groove and mellow vocals make a nice contrast.
She looks as great as she sounds!

I actually browsed here cos i thought i was hearing the beginning of some alternate or live Fall version of Blindness on RP! Instant 1 for barefaced cheek to rip of such a great track.

Yeah!! Division Kent again...now I can come back to life after that last set.
when Alex and his merry band of droogs head over to the Korova I imagine this will be booming.

Good spotting. eMusic didn't have it a couple of months ago.
I've never heard this style of RP; I like it. Division Kent - Rooftop Rally Kula Shaker - Tattva Tabla Beat Science - Palmistry
A storming tune, from a band who sound like an indie version of the mad german metallers Rammstein
Love the steamrolling bass, and Andrea looks pretty ok on that photo, yes she does.

Nope. From their website: ROOFTOP RALLYE in your dreams smileing at the answer to it all don't bother knowing what's on my mind let your hair down, let your hair down you said, to good to be true no longer safe from your creation don't bother knowing what's on my mind and how to go about it the secret sins beyond your selfish ways bruises all over turn a summersault upon folly folly returns don't bother knowing what's on my mind let your hair down, let your hair down driving blind in a rooftop rallye

Viva Shoegazing!
Wow, did that song take an abrupt turn from its beginning. Very likeable I'm thinking.

Second this! I'm not tempted to steal, but would love to buy the MP3. Was scrolling back through the comments because sometimes a resourceful RP listener has found a link to the distributor or something similar allowing for legal purchase.
don't bother, I've been looking for a while on the P2P sites and nothing. Don't think there's enough for a torrent yet either...

the buy link on their site (www.division-kent.com) goes to their Swiss distributor: (click here) but it's not in English, so that may be a problem? you might also write an email to one of the addresses in the "contact" section of the site.
bad. too bad.
hot hot hot! *grooves*

Yeehaah, me like! What a sound! Different from the usual playlist, I'm surprised the integrists are not heaping rubbish onto that one. Or maybe I didn't read enough comments. Tattva was a good surprise too.

excellent drums ...and overall groove
Reminds me of Death in Vegas
The spelling for the track (as shown on the CD) is: Rooftop Rallye (Track #8) K
Whoa, this sounds just like "Blindness" by The Fall.
Very catchy tune
Weird that this one should be repeated so quickly. Like it, though.
Very Good Groove...and thanks for the photo(Mari)..it adds a nice visual to an already great song

I love it when the stereo mix comes out all... shifty... in headphones.
nice to have a little shot of energy on RP every once in a while...sometimes it feels a little sleepy around here. :) (i do love RP though!)
Jeff Beck wants his riff back. He actually calls it My Thing.

Heavy weird thing! A 4 for me!
Nice grooves, mellows out my Monday :)
Reminds me of some of Jeff Beck's recent work. It's groovy.
Noise, noise, noise!
It took me a while to figure it out, but this reminds me subtly, yet strongly, of Chris Vrenna's remix of Rob Zombie's "Return of the Phantom Stranger". Just posting that in case anyone else feels the same burning sense of vague recognition. But I somehow doubt anyone will.
pretty weird, but quite likeable :)
Good groove.
...so nice following venus as a boy...
I'll open with a 7. ">
WOOHOO loving it already!!
