Perfect, coming in a set not long after Jethro Tull's magical, "Up to Me" -- and it reminds me just how sensual, how enchanting, how trippy the flute can be!

I rated this one a 6 originally, and hearing it again, I realize why I don't have it at 7 or higher....a bit repetitive until the jungle safarai and flute section chimes in...oh heck, I really like it...i'll go to a 7 on this one.

Can I just add that the Supperclub used to be a fine eating/playing establishment. Mrs Poacher took me there when we were courting for a very memorable evening in Amsterdam quite a few years ago. Anyone who has been there will know how excellent a place it was in its early days.

These guys were probably influenced by Enigma, but this "beat" or rhythm track was more likely borrowed from or flavored by some "exotica" tune by Martin Denny or Les Baxter, from the 1950s.  Nice groove.

In my opinion the Supperclub Collection, hands down, beats all Café del Mar and Hotel Costes Albums. Give'em a try.
