It's a common mistake to think just anyone can write a song and stick a reggae beat to it. First you need the right voice, then the right song...this is neither.

Funny, I wouldn't have really thought of this as reggae. But I really like it - I haven't heard her before. If you like this, be sure to check out The Pierces. Those girls are amazing. Thirteen Tales of Love and Revenge is my new favorite album. I think they would fit well on RP, if they haven't been played already.
