Sounds like Ray Davies on Zoloft{#Chillpill}

yeaaah . .  and WHO doesn't like Xanax?      {#Tongue-out}   suddenly I'm feeling so relaxed
The only thing easy about "Easy Listening" fare such as this is hitting mute.

Huh.
Kind of a sleepy cover.  Not terrible.  Needs a face-melting garcia solo.
Hrm... I'm not familiar with the Grateful Dead version.  Perhaps if I were I could appreciate this a bit more.  On it's own, it get's mighty close to "Sucko Barfo" territory.
Wow, one of my favorite Grateful Dead songs.....turned into muzac{#Lol}{#No}
Kinda reminds me of something off McCartney's first album. No real opinion, just a thought. I guess that says it all?!?

This guy lacks the soul to sing these songs. The musical arrangements are tight though

I appreciate the effort but not especially the product. When done by the Dead, especially live, this song had a rhythmic pulse that is lacking here. Too sweet for me.

Oh, right - like Jerry was really known for his soulful style of singing. Yep, a real Al Green he was!

Compared to this he was.

Interesting. In a good way.

I can be hard to please about covers, but I have to say this is pretty sweet.

How is the rest of this album? Does it verge too closely to easy listening?
Not bad. I wouldn't buy this album based on the 3 songs that I've heard here so far though. I MUCH prefer the originals.
