A plodding beat but somehow it all comes together nicely.

I am still awaiting the release of the original Buckingham Nicks album which is a treasure trove of classic songs. The talent evidenced by a duo so young is amazing.

Lindsay Buckingham had to cancel a concert last fall in Elkhart, Indiana. "Because of illness in the band" ....still bums me out. No reschedule... I hope it wasn't lack of sales or anything sad... Stevie Nicks sold out in Indy around the same time. I'd still rather have seen Lindsey.
One of Lindsey's finest efforts. Inspired by a Charlie Watts drum fill on Sway (Sticky Fingers).

Glad that RP plays the deeper cuts off Tusk. But this one walks a thin line. One of Lindsey's weaker efforts.

Lindsey Buckingham is easily one of the top 10 musical genius candidates on my short list. Extraordinary consistency, never less than exceptional.

I'm one of those Fleetwood Mac listeners who has never recovered from the overexposure of Rumors. Not the band's fault and not the fault of that album. But it certainly was the fault of FM radio in this country. Once the iPod arrived and I had alternatives to the radio, I tuned into other things and went on my own musical journey. I thank my lucky stars that a friend turned me on to RP. It wasn't so much his efforts but a Denon amp that had RP as one of the Internet stations. I'm loving it so far and plan to make monthly donations!
Once in a while RP allows me the experience of hearing something extremely familiar on headphones for the first time... cool.

I wouldn't listen to it everyday but RP doesn't do that, so it goes in my + category with a 6.
FM have some very stellar older stuff. Unfortunately, this isn't one of them.

Lindsay's music has always been hit-or-miss with me. This is a solid 3,
This is one of the songs that made me shelve the album and take it out of rotation. Its hard to endure a song you don't really like on vinyl just to enjoy the rest. Its easier to not play the album.

I appreciate this album SO much more now than when I first bought it in 1979-1980 (on vinyl, of course!)

Lindsey Buckingham is a very good songwriter. I enjoy the pacing of his compositions.
Such a classic album - it never gets old.

Not what Warner Bros. was expecting after "Rumors". Kudos to Fleetwood Mac for delivering a complex and decidedly non-commercial follow-up.

Tusk is one of the most innovative albums ever produced! Love it!

This album didn't have a chance. Following "Rumours" which was probably the biggest selling album in history at the time (or close to it) was an impossible task. All things considered it was a pretty decent effort; some have called it Fleetwood Mac's White Album. The wheels did start to come off after this, however. From Peter Green to Stevie Nicks and all points in between, has any band had more personnel changes and a wider and more diverse body of work?
That really takes me back. I can't find my Tusk LP, so you better keep playing it.

These guys *still* sound new and fresh and different - FM stands the test of time, for sure.
I wish they would accept "I Know I'm Not Wrong" off of this CD.

Fleetwood Mac - As Stevie said........"Timeless..." 
I was a big Fleetwood Mac fan growing up and I still love this album. It was always one of my favorites. Nice to hear!
