Dawn Tyler is trying much, much to hard to sound soulful, I'd like to hear Joan Osborne do this.
The guitar work was again, desperately trying to be soulful - I liked it once through the lyrics and then about midway couldn't wait for it to end, it's actually a terrible cover.

Agreed, but sorry as they are clearly talented and probably having a good time.
I think this is pretty fantastic!{#Smile}
I don't recall hearing many covers of this classic, but these two nail it.
I like all the cover songs... this one is very cool and bluesy, a take on this song I've not heard before.  great guitar work!  {#Guitarist}
too cool for school...6!

i had marked it off as decent but blandish, but wow ... way cool outro!
I like this.
Worse than an American Idol performance. Make it stop!
When this started , I was prepared to hate it, but it really grew on me.  Nice one.   In fact the more it goes on, the more I like it.

Well, I didn't give it a very high score, but I think she put a nice spin on it.  Certainly more than I can say for Aerosmith, etc.

I agree with the post saying this version would sound really nice at about 11:30 pm, after a couple of pops though.  It does have a bar room vibe.

There is nothing awful about this song.  I'm glad that some new stuff is getting added to the rotation.  Even RP has it's way of being caught in it's own cycle of songs.  Breaking out of that and adding some variety is good for all of us.

How many Beatles covers does RP play, how is this "breaking the cycle"?

i could see this song being played at about 11:30 on a heavily-imbued friday night...but any other time, no thanks. I'll stick with the original, thanks.

I can check off yet another version (and genre!) that I've heard of this song.

Now, where's my mash-up of this, with The Beatles, Michael Jackson, and Joe Cocker?

Disagree, I think M. Jackson's version is great. Not that I don't loooove the original..

haven't heard Jackson's version,  {#Think} i will keep an open mind, but i still don't think anything will ever beat the original!

Wow.. I was shocked when I read the comments on this song.  I really like it.  I think her voice is great and the guitar playing is pretty darn cool as well....

Oh well.. just me....
WOW
SoulFul as HELL and SESSY!

I'm with you.
It's not especially good or painfully bad, it's just...unnecessary.

Eh. Probably not the worst thing most of us will hear today.
why bother recording this? Why bother playing it?

I actually like this. Which surprises me.
Sometimes I can handle Beatles' covers, but not like this. Nope, don't like it.
