Four bar drum machine loops should be outlawed. Especially those with cheesey tom tom fills.  {#Frustrated}
Leonard Cohen meets Twin Peaks?

Indeed it is.

Apropos of nothing in particular, after finishing a very good martini (Bombay Sapphire, very dry, straight-up, olives) and listening to RP..... Bill, YOU ROCK!!!!
I like it - first time i've heard him

Tempchin wrote the Eagles' "Already Gone" among others.  I really like the drumming on this track - very effective/addictive.
He's got laryngitis.
Boring...
Once again, leave it to Mr Bill to pluck the single gem out of an obscure, and forgettable CD. Love this one -esp on the highway.
Interesting and fresh.
Trite.

Well here across the ocean we call'em foxes. ;)
Bill I was wondering if that was the same guy from the Eagles. You read my mind!

I feel the same way as this guy when I'm out on t'moors amongst vast tracts of empty nothingness - it's great for the soul. Other than it's rather wetter than the desert, and there's a distinct lack of coyotes. Doesn't cure your problems, but puts them in a small cage in the back of your mind where they can rant and rave as they want.

Like this song, esp. the ladies singing the chorusline "out of the desert"

It made me stop & listen too. Good stuff!!!!
That strummin' puts me in mind of Antje Duvekot.
Absolutely awesome! Thanks Bill for being who you and your wife Becka are! You're are a force to be reckoned with!!!

JJ Cale kinda thing, not bad
Does anyone else get a Springsteen vibe from this? Sounds like Born to Run in the West, a bit.

What was I doing before hearing this song? Doesn't matter anymore. Life is changed.
Here some Greg Brown which is always infallable, the desert is a good place to be.
  (water permitting)
Seems we all stopped what we're doing.  I'm guessin' there ain't nobody doin' nuttin'.  Life is good.
Like a peaceful easy feeling, one of the Eagles finest. Thanks Jack for writing it....
I have to agree w/other posts. I stopped what I was doing, and listened and was curious about the artist. Thank you R.P. was getting the finest music out on "the intenets", courtesy of GW Bush, gone but not forgotten.

I'm with Darlington and rvontha: this song made me stop what I was doing to see who it is.  Very nice...{#Good-vibes}

A Dylanesque dirge

I first heard this song when driving the last 40 miles to Fort Huachuca at about 3am ... Spooky

nice movement from Porcupine Tree's "Halo" to this considering Lent ...
Me likey a whole big bunch. It's got that dark twang to it.. nice.
