Things are falling down on me
Heavy things I could not see
When I finally came around
Something small would pin me down
When I try to step aside
I move to where they'd hoped I'd be

Vanessa calls me on the phone
Reminding me I'm not alone
I fuss and quake and cavitate
I try to speak and turn to stone

Tilly reaches through my vest
To do the thing that she does best
She probes and tears my ventricles
Steals my one remaining breath

Things are falling down on me
Heavy things I could not see
When I finally came around
Something small would pin me down
When I try to step aside
I move to where they'd hoped I'd be

Stumbling as I fall from Grace
She needs my vision to replace
Her ailing sight throughout the night
Leaving two holes in my face

Mary was a friend I'd say
'til one summer day
She borrowed everything I owned
And then simply ran away,

Things are falling down on me
Heavy things I could not see
When I finally came around
Something small would pin me down
When I try to step aside
I move to where they'd hoped I'd be

There's two types of people in the world: Those who hear Phish and realize it's the best band ever, and those who don't. I'm blessed to be in the first group.
Phish twice in ONE night? Twice in one year would be plenty.
so far from their best it HAS to be a joke.
Wow, if I were at the concert related to this recording, I probably would have fallen asleep.

Agreed.  Why does Bill continue to play some of the sloppiest and silliest Phish cuts available?  It amounts to giving an often-great band a mediocre name by focusing on some of their worst takes.

Right on element...............I'd rather hear Possum, Bathtub or AC/DC bag live versions, or anything
other than Heavy Things.........except Round Room of course.

Of all the songs NOT to play, this would be it. Might as well play Round Room! No, please don't!

I've never heard a Grateful Dead song that sounds anything even remotely close to this song.  Drop the hate!!!{#Dancingbanana}{#Drummer}{#Bananajam}

The instrumental jam makes this song.  So good to have Phish back in action.
I was lucky enough to be at Hampton for the mighty return... what a magical weekend!

So cool they immediately released all 3 shows for free download for those that could not make it, and for those of us looking to relive such a wonderful celebration of music and life:)

Don't we already have a Grateful Dead?

I wanna take you HIGH-er!
Umm, you probably had to be there.
i guess i'll never get it... although a song with the word "ventricles" in it is somewhat humorous to me

Wow. These guys live are maybe not so good. Huh!
lightweight and boring.
Ooh-ooh, waa-aa, zzzzzzzzzzz...... {#Sleep}

Didn't we just have a Grateful Dead song like 45 minutes ago?

Oh, right. Never mind.

...and your point is?
Very pleased with Phish's return...give the 3-day series of shows an overall average of 8...which is much higher than any rating post-hiatus.

C'mon Trey, you can hit those notes!

...maybe.
