Haven't figured any example of traditional Ukrainian folk that would pass into playlist of RP so far.. {#Wall}

Annoying sounds.
First listen for me. Glad to hear things I would normally never hear...no thanks to Clear Channel....Oh did I say that word? Sacrilidge!
Most excellent! Where can you buy that song?

Cool, completely different. This is why I listen to RP - it plays a lot of my favorites, as well as songs I'd never hear in a million years elsewhere.

...i'd grin to hear ojos de brujo next...
Very nice!
Thanx for playing this one again. Gives some spice to playlist.
I'm upping my rating on this one, liking this time even more than the first time.
Awesome shirt! Where can I get one?

Lon Chaney Jr. is dead.

As this song should be.
Hooooooooooooooly cow. What the hell was THAT? That was terrible.

Howling dogs in music. Only good in very, very small doses; none is best.

On second listening, gets a +1 to the rating just for the wolf.

earns a 3 for now, but if i hear it again i'm going to rate it even lower. the wolf howls alone are at least a -1

Couldn't make it to the wolves before I switched the channel.

Only on RP :) - this station is never less than interesting, and is the very definition of eclectic. So, can anyone furnish a lyric translation? Nice sound - an initial 6 from the Nottingham jury.

Oh, and I just loved the howl - that added another 1 to the rating. Arrooo!

LOL
I like it. Weird, but unpretentious. 6 plus one for the howl!
Is Bill dropping acid? :)

Yep, I can see that too :-D. I love the bass voices in the background which really bomp it along and give it a sense of menace. Nice find, RP.

Don't rate it too bad - sometimes different musical cultures develop different sounds and song structures based on their experience and emotions.

This is what the musicians did in this song, too.

And thanks to Bill we get the great chance to open our mind to songs we maybe might never get to hear. So if you don't like them doesn't mean the songs are bad - you just don't fully understand it.

So please be fair.
makes me feels like waiting at dentist's

This sounds like it came from a Russian version of "This Is Spinal Tap".
I don't exactly know why, but I like this!

Exactly, this one gets a solid "1" from me — sometimes I wish there was a FFWD button.  Please save this one for Halloween, and maybe follow it up with Michael Jackson's "Thriller"....?

School song for the Durmstrang Institute. Yes!

A great illustration of cacophony. {#Headache}

I was undecided until the wolf howl, and then I was sold. . .

Very odd, but I like it.
I really like this song and for the life of me I don't know why.{#Stupid}
It redeems itself with the howl!
da!!
...this would have sounded really cool playing on a proper stereo, loudly, twenty-five years ago...

Ukrainian rock...I love RP.  You'd never hear this anywhere else, I don't think.

Thanks for the diversity, BillG!

I like it.  When I heard the wolf at the end, I thought BillG was segueing into Thriller.  Thank God I was wrong.  {#Lol}

Very good, I saw them in Poland and in Ukraina{#Roflol}
If you keep feeding that damn stray cat, it will never go away!!!!

{#Razz}
Reminds me of Clannad
Another good example of why I listen to RP {#Music}

Below is translation of the lyrics. An amateur translation :)

Witches eyes like stars, witches eyes like stars
Her black eyes are like cristal dews
Like a deepest emptiness
Colder then an ice are those witches eyes

Autumn wind is blowing in the night
Owl is singing on a swamp
And in the morning she runs out in fields
And let's her hair down, washes her tears away

Witches eyes like stars, witches eyes like stars
Her black eyes are like cristal dews
There is a grave in the forest, there is a grave in the forest
Her beloved is lying there killed by the people

Autumn wind is blowing in the night
Owl is singing on a swamp
And in the morning she runs in fields
Washing hair in dews, bringing flowers to the forest...
