Put me on the train
Send me back my home
Couldn't leave without you
When I tried to roam

Put me by the windows
Let me see outside
Look at all the places
Where all my family died
Where all my family died
Where all my family died
Where all my family died

Leave me by the churchyard
Leave me on my own
Some will come and take me
Back to my old home

Put me by the windows
Let me see outside
Look at all the places
Where all my family died
Where all my family died
Where all my family died
Where all my family died

Put me on the train (..ain)

I really try not to say this about any music but man I hate this song.

Yup.  Both Moby and Air both create a nice relaxed chill mood.

Moby is weak both physically and musically.{#Yes}

I am sure plenty of good people have gone down on others and have then gone on to create good music

As usually good music from Moby.
this song causes me to change channels

That's a tad rude...Now I'm no Bowie or Sting fan...but I wouldn't stoop that low.....I'm guessing you're a Scorpians fan?

Of course all gay men who are in rock really ARE cock suckers...will you contact NASA, or should we?
there's an Apparat Remix of this somewhere out there, which REALLY rocks!

Not to be too negative, but would someone put her on a train and take her mic away?

Spooked me out for a minute there.

Perhaps, Bill,  you should follow this up with Steve Reich's "Different Trains" that would really spook everybody and stop all the whinging here by really giving  them something to whine about (does that make sense?)

The old MOBY's back again! Hoorray!

this song used to be an 8, it's slipped to a 1 from over-playing. make it stop!!!
creepy
My goodness people - CHILL. I think if I wrote a song that riled up so many negative comments I'd probably feel like I achieved something anyway. It obviously stirs up emotions - albeit the need to smash things. {#Crashcomp}

Better to be loved or hated - never ignored.

Great to see he's evolved and gone in a different direction......oh wait

hmmm... seems to be a lot of people who don't care much for this.

I like it... but I like most of the chilled out Moby stuff.
And for that reason, I like this album.

i can't stand listening this song {#Crashcomp}

Seems like this plays every day, or rather early morning. Well, it does not really fit in the afternoon on this side of the Atlantic. Could you just move it to when Europe is asleep, Bill?

Well, I haven't heard this song in about 5 days, so that I would say, is pretty good. It's like taking castor oil. Get it done and over with and then I hopefully won't have to hear it for another 5 days.

Some Moby songs are pretty good.  They don't all sound the same to me.  He has at least 3 different songs.

Maybe 4.

really good. Play it 3 times a day, if that will displace some Bob Dylan from the playlist

I am so SICK of this song.  It's depressing, but I can deal with that, I am just tired of hearing it what seems like daily on RP.

I'd like to put this song on a train and send it back to its home.

Not a bad song, but it makes me sad as my mom passed away a few months ago. Don't like songs about family dying right now...

Meh.  At best.

This song gets played too much. Once a week is plenty.
A little techno-beat but it is working for me.  Wasn't familiar with this one.

Not sure what all the fuss is about- I dig this song and enjoy most of Moby's earlier work.

Moby is right up there among the innovators, and those who take the lead are often criticized along the way.

You guys don't seem to get it:

He recorded the vocals through a cheap $70 microphone but then played it back and resampled it through one of those "cans on a string" devices and then had the vocalist tap it out in morse code... so it's INNOVATIVE and GREAT !!

Yes, but you have to put it in context of the artist. Moby is not known for his song lyrics, he's known for his atmospheric, melancholy, techno sound and superb sampling. In my opinion this isn't one of his best but it's not as bad as you described it.

I just think it's overplayed on RP, regardless of whether it's good (and I think it's marginal).

While my family is as dead as the next, I don't have roots.  There's no locale where they're buried or memorialized.  For better or worse.

Please stop playing this depressing song with hardly any words. The music isn't too bad, but the lyrics are awful! {#Grumpy}
I swear!  Radio Paradise plays this darn song every day of the week.  This is the most depressing song I have ever heard - the dead family song!
Not too much to this song, is there? {#Rolleyes}

I like this, but I'm trying hard not to pay too much attention to the lyrics.

I heard a quote from Moby where he stated this is music to listen to on a rainy Sunday morning.  It would definitely put me back to sleep.  Okay, but kind of blah.

IMHO, that's called an artist's "style"....and as a result, I can almost instantly recognize a Moby song.  That can be good or bad, depending on your viewpoint.

{#Meditate}  Sounds like other Moby, but I like it!
