If she keeps him/her weak like a child, he/she won't leave home, venture out beyond the safety of her.  Yes, selfish.  But sometimes, we are the weak ones and so want to make the other weak so they won't leave us alone.  Just a little dream she is having...

Actually like the chorus. One of the few times you hear Dido vibrato...and its wonderful. "Just hold on...." It's awesome to hear the frail voice command some power. A rarity. She's sort of a guilty pleasure of mine. Her simplicity is very appealing.
