Nope, not unless you live on Moresby Island which gets 20 feet (20FFEET!) of rain a year. I  fished around there for 20 years and it was dry 1 day in 4 on average.

Been looking forward to seeing these guys since I picked up Blue Lines in a used shop about 15 years ago.  Finally, this Friday, I shall be rewarded for my patience (and my 55 bucks).  Not sure any band can live up to this kind of anticipation, but from the live stuff I've seen on the 'tube, they have a good chance of doing so.

I have been a fan of this band since "blue lines" in 1990.  Then, I read a review of that album that observed that "America is not ready for Massive Attack."  I suspect that this is still true.  They are amazing through the years, although I did not like 13 floors (stairs?) all that much.

Not a lot of middle ground with this offering.

Splitting Headache would be a better name for the album.  This cut makes Morphine sound like the Archies.  They say that after Syd Barrett began to freak out, he'd sometimes stand there for hours playing the same note over and over with a dazed look on his face.  Also, at the zoo, a cheetah's pacing back and forth endlessly in front of its cage is said to be a sign that it has gone partially mad.  This song reminds me of Syd and the cheetah.  Poor things.  1 from the Notinmycollection Jury.

I like this one, makes me interested in checking out this new album. Didn't quite like the last album ("100th Window") as much, a little too electronic and directionless. This song sounds like they kept a little of that sound as seasoning, but then went back and did something in the style of the "Protection" album. If the rest of the album is like this, I can see myself keeping this one on rotation for a while.

Like it, nice mood. In my experience the more textural MA tracks are the most long-lived on my playlist.

Vocalist sounds like Terry Callier, who also featured on Live With Me from the Greatest Hits collection.

IMHO this is much better than the other song (Splitting The Atom) from this album that was played on RP yesterday. But I have to agree with Bill, I also never would have guessed that this is Massive Attack. Then again, it's been a long time since their last studio album, 6 years to be exact.
