I remember when this came out and how transfixed I was by the mood of it. Probably haven't heard it in 30 years. It's as cool sounding today as it was then. Thanks for putting this on, Bill.

They still have a ton of energy - went to see them twice and will go again...when we can actually go to a concert! The sax is always a great mood setter

I just came to comment on how great The Furs sounded at a recent show I went to. They were tight, energetic, and really dedicated to putting on the best show possible. Having seen a handful of British, post-punk or new wave from the 80s recently I have to say each one of them was solidly professional and thoroughly enjoyable live.

The dissonant sax was always a Furs signature to me.  I've probably complained before about how it got scrubbed out of the 1986 cover of "Pretty in Pink."  Including this track, Steve Lillywhite produced some delightfully gritty stuff during the early 80s.

One of the best songs from their first album. It goes on a bit, but the first two records have much worse tracks than this. 

Still works for me—serene, warped, detached.

I don't know whether I like this or hate it.  The beat is mesmerizing, but the minor key is creepy and a little bit depressing. I think I prefer the PsychFur's more up-tempo music.  I'll give this a 7, but probably no more than that... *shrug*
