Suddenly the version of this song I horrifically sing in the shower ain't sounding so bad.
ouch.
Marianne Faithful has always been the musical equivalent of a car crash. Brutal and jarring, but also hard to not pay attention. Guess that's better than bland and forgettable.
WTF,  there should be a 10 year limitation on imitation. I mean seriously what's she thinking.
"Oh that's a great song I just heard, oh wait I CAN DO IT BETTER"

What an ego, there is way too much of this going on right now.

I'm all for re-interpretations but c'mon, give the original some time before you go an butcher it.
Also should say...covers live of any kind is fine....BUT RECORDED?!

argh.....sucko-barfo for sure.

Seriously. Stuff like that might have worked for Johnny Cash, but Marianne Faithful is a lost cause.

Betty White would be cool.  This is not that cool.
Well this was a proper butchering of a beautiful song
No.  No.  No.  No.  No.
Since seeing Irina Palm, I will forever associate Marianne Faithfull with that movie...

This cover is nothing special but certainly not as bad as the first few ratings make it out to be.

This is wrong on so many levels. Totally f'd up a great Decemberist song. Too bad there is not a zero on the ratings board.{#Cry}

YIKES!
My initial thought was "NO!" But by the end of it - all I can say is that it is an interesting interpretation.
This guy's voice is even worse than Meloy's.
How the heck did this get through the LRC?

Horrible voice. Bet she loves the new Dylan stuff
Please don't play this again.  Soma FM is now on the radio.

...well this is new - interesting interpretation...i'm not sure if it brings a whole lot new to the song beyond her voice, but that alone is enough, really...
This is a great Decemberists song!  Oh wait....
Whoa!!
