He has only one volume, where he is pressing, pressing, pressing his voice so it has that hard edge. Effective in small doses, but not as a steady diet.

I like his voice and styling, but this isn't a particularly good example of it.  And by coincidence, I myself will ALWAYS execute the PSD option when Norah Jones shows up -- Steely Dan too.

Sivert sounds like one of those old Alan Lomax prison blues recordings from the south...this one was impossible to get in iTunes (or anywhere else) in the US the last time I checked...anyone know any different? I asked Sivert himself on his Facebook page and he said he was surprised to know that it was unavailable...

No. Refugees throughout the world endure the most appalling suffering. This song always moves me, sometimes to tears. The problem with Prisoner is that the more I hear it, the less I like it and I am hearing it too often. The grandeur of his voice becomes stale. Is that the fault of the song or just how it is played? - I'll rate it when it has stopped irritating me.
