Lying in my bed I hear the clock tick and think of you
Caught up in circles, confusion is nothing new
Flashback, warm nights
Almost left behind
Suitcase of memories

Time after sometimes you picture me, I'm walkin' too far ahead
You're callin' to me, I can't hear what you've said
Then you say, "Go slow."
I fall behind
The second hand unwinds

If you're lost, you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall, I will catch you, I'll be waiting
Time after time

If you're lost, you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall, I will catch you, I'll be waiting
Time after time

After my picture fades and darkness has turned to gray
Watching through windows, you're wondering if I'm okay
Secrets stolen
From deep inside
The drum beats out of time

If you're lost, you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall, I will catch you, I'll be waiting
Time after time

You said, "Go slow."
I fall behind
The second hand unwinds

If you're lost, you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall, I will catch you, I'll be waiting
Time after time

If you're lost, you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall, I will catch you, I'll be waiting
Time after time

Time after time
Time after time
Time after time
Time after time

Time after time
Time after time
Time after time
Time after time

Didn't care for the end...sounds like two American Idol contestants trying to outdo each other's vocal gymnastics.

...heh...i do like the original, but now that you point it out, this rendition sounds a touch ridiculous...

I agree and what a surprise, had no idea this version was out there...

pretty painful. The Hooter's do it best.

I disagree, when they are singing together, Cindy sounds abrasive compared to Sarah and with more earnest emotion vs. Sarah's melancholy tone. Cindy all but drowns out Sarah.

I like them separately in this song, but agree with you about Cyndi overpowering the chorus. I prefer Sarah's more focused emotion over Cyndi's more abrasive emotion, as you put it.

a big THANK YOU to whoever uploaded this.... an excellent song and a fantastic version.
Nice, tear inducing follow-up to "fake plastic trees" on RP this afternoon. Tryin' to fight back tears on the B Train through Brooklyn.

Fantastic duet
This is kind of cool.
Such a sweet, modern, sad, sentimental song.
I like the tune "Money Changes Everything."

Interesting. Loathed the original. This is better.

Surprisingly nice. Not two voices I would have put together in my mind (though I like them both individually). But it actually works rather nicely.

It's a delightful song, and always has been. The sentiment is wonderful, as is the tune. The addition of Sarah McLachlan's voice is lovely. Though she hasn't written much of value as of late (to my knowledge), her voice hasn't lost it. 4-1/2 stars.

Very nice ... but not sure if I really want to hear it again.

Not bad, but I'd sure like to hear Sarah by herself cover this.
I'm not a fan of Sarah McLachlan, but despite her singing on this, it doesn't suck.

7.

i wasn't much of a fan when the song was popular but i have to admit, it's a very pretty song and this is well done.
This is really good for the ears ...
WOW!  Very cool!

I do like this version! Two of the great female singers of our time together.
