Lyrics:

It matters to me
Took a long time to get here
But if it would have been easy, I would not have cared

Like a tropical forest
Like a cop on the beat
When all is in order, you get lost in the heat

I feel so wonderful
Wonderful, wonderful the way I feel
Doesn't matter to me
I can take it or leave it
I can learn from way back when and still live right now
With the sun on my shoulders and the wind at my back
I will never grow older at least not in my mind

I feel so wonderful
Wonderful, wonderful the way I feel
I'm going where there ain't no fear
I'm going where the spirit is near
I'm going where the livin' is easy and the people are kind

A new state of mind
I'm going where there ain't no police
I'm going where there ain't no disease
I'm going where there ain't no need to escape from what is
Only spirits at ease
i can't listen to them anymore, reminds me of a jackass ex. LOL
I spy a magic eye.

I agree!  It isn't bad, but it isn't inspired.  I suppose it's unfair for us to expect greatness all the time, but everything I've heard from this album has been something of a letdown for me.  It's all just ok, nothing objectionable and nothing attention grabbing...  it just is.

I think that is causing me to rate it lower than it really deserves, but I just can't think of this as anything other than just decent.

i'm with you both on this. i really like the band, and originally, i really liked the song (but it's because i'd recently seen them live, and they did it so sweetly), however, i think i'm in the same camp as your opinion, here, overall.

Wonderful! What more do you need to say? I really liked the way the song developed with added instruments, cellos, violins and banjos? The lyrics made me think of joining in to go to this wonderful place where your cares would evaporate because it is a place that has no police, thus no violence and sounds like going to paradise. Think'll have to at least go for a long hike in the desert this weekend and find a place just like it.

I really like these guys but I feel like this is the sort of song any decent band could write. The are no lyric or melodic curveballs that give this the MMJ stamp.

Man, his voice really soothes me.....so nice!
Don't know what it is about this group, but I really love their style!

There isn't much else to choose from so I guess these guys are the best of what's (not) out there?

I'm waiting for the same thing!  I just don't get it.

Possibly the most over-rated band of 2010.

Dear James, shut it, no, no, just shut it!!{#Silenced}

1st listen; pass
Kind of a departure from the norm for them....

Speaking of, I finally saw the "American Dad" episode about them the other night...

bland so far — will it grow on me?
