Money, get away
Get a good job with more pay and you're1 O.K.
Money it's a gas
Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash
New car, caviar, four star daydream,
Think I'll buy me a football team

Money get back
I'm all right Jack keep your hands off of my stack.2
Money it's a hit
Don't give me that do goody good bullshit
I'm in the hi-fidelity first class travelling set
And I think I need a Lear jet

Money it's a crime
Share it fairly but don't take a slice of my pie
Money so they say
Is the root of all evil today
But if you ask for a rise it's no surprise that they're
Giving none away

Away, away, away, away, away, away, away.3

Yeah... (laughs) I was in the right!
Yes, absolutely in the right!
I certainly was in the right!
Yeah, I was definitely in the right. That geezer was cruising for a bruising!
Why does anyone do anything?
Yeah!
Why does anyone do anything?
I don't know; I was really drunk at the time!
I was just telling him it was in, he could get it in number two. He was asking why it wasn't coming up on freight eleven. After, I was yelling and screaming and telling him why it wasn't coming up on freight eleven. It came to a heavy blow, which sorted the matter out.4

luv PF.
....but they can sure suck as a live band.
Long Live RP

To me only 7 but I do not Skip  yet
Dave doing "The Riff" again!

This is a quote from Rog's dvd narration of the wall, run like hell.   If ever there was a Riff, Its this one.    I recon its an odd time signature because it would have originally been some kind of tapeloop on a watkins, probably looped around a few microphone stands and a coffee jug which they picked up on and fitted the song around it.   then they jump back in to 4/4 twelve bar for that mid song jam, more like home to a blues/rock band.
Yawn PSD.....
Thank you, Professor, for this in-depth analysis.  The class shall now return to enjoying this recording exactly as before.

Well, after carefully listening to some songs in this edition of the music of P. Floyd, is there anything that sounds strange, for example, leader-singer voice, chorus background, guitar solos, the percussion, feels like everything sounds that resembled a true copy of original songs, but here reproduced in session for a alternative band, and whose end result is poorly managed. I am convinced that this issue (Immersion Box Set), translates into a more commercial and opportunistic appeal of editors, but it adds nothing to the originals.
Thus, the true lovers of traditional music Pink Floyd, only review the original albums, and also some recordings of live performances, performed by "actors" of the original lineup of Pink Floyd, i.e.Delicate Sound of Thunder (1988), Pulse (1995), Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live 1980–81 (2000), and some Compilation and Video albums like Pink Floyd The Wall (2000), Classic Albums: Pink Floyd – The Making of The Dark Side of the Moon (2003). Moreover, there is curious and strange, that this edition of "Box Immersion", nor is listed in the official Pink Floyd discography.
And to aggravate the situation further, appears on-air play in doses reinforced of 3  songs grouped in sequence. A bit tedious to hear, given the marked differences for the recordings of the original albums, to those who know.
Note: Nevertheless, it is much more useful for new generations of listeners, listen, and enjoy if possible, this edition Immersion, than wasting time listening to music from the second to third choice, which will be editing in the current times.

I agree, love the reggae version and Flaming Lips do another alternative DSOTM cover that is worth a listen.  But it's the original PF that always sends a shiver up the spine

Nice break. Nice guitar sound and like the way they lower everything down and bring it back up. Very bluesy feel
Happy to finally be home long enough to enjoy this long PF session ........ pleasure to hear PF and lifting my spirits. The best concert I have ever seen. Thanks Bill
Great. Thanks!
I was never happy with the cut .. they didn't mike me drums right.

Why does this version feel . . . . self indulgent

Yeah...  I agree.  I love PF and have for many years, but Money (and Time, two things I never have enough of) or a couple of the very small handful of songs I don't care for.  This is version feels like it goes on forever and just doesn't add anything to do the song.  It's like they are trying to kill time in the concert and just noodling around.

YEAH!!!!!!!!! Do it RP!!!!!! go all the way!!!!

Uh oh,  this white guy wank is starting to sound like Spinal Tap & Puppet Show...

Godlike. Yes, that's what having back-to-back Floyd with fantastic sax solos is for me.

Here on Hilton Head Island, we are BASKING in RadioParadise's  über-fantastic set.

Thanks Bill!
Anton
This is like a half hour of pure Pink Floyd.  I was done in the first five minutes.  Can we move on?
Blasting thru my head cold.  I think this is good for me...
Bonus!!!!  {#Clap}

Way to go Bill, I have absolutely no problem with back-to-back-to-back Pink Floyd.

{#Yes}

Although I enjoy PF and most of their output...I personally love the variety presented here on RP and this to me is a bit excessive. Oh well...I'll survive.
Just this minute overheard in the living room.........."I like this group a lot better than the last group".........

Bill also played "Echoes" last week. So all is forgiven on the same old songs being played. haha.
Saturday Night LIVE!
All is well in the land of RP...{#Motor}
I say this as a total PF fan...

This album needs a serious vacation. The marathon sessions of a whole album side, played over and over, are actually starting to make me tire of this brilliant work. My first thought when I heard this play was, "OMG, again?" When I start feeling that way about Floyd, there's something wrong.

Now the screaming woman is another story..

Completely agree on the "burnout" rating button.  Terrific idea.  {#Clap}

(Love this tune, though)

Everytime Pink Floyd comes one it makes me pause for a minute! what a pleasant interruption from my work.

Tasty rendition!
Just an idea:  how about an all-live day?  This is just TOOOOO GOOOOD!!!!
the most overplayed song off the most overplayed album by the most overrated band
blech
I love songs that show how bluesy, how jazzy Pink Floyd has always been, all the way back to their wild Syd days when improv was the norm and frenzy was the theme.  Music like theirs will never get old, and sounds good no matter what you're doing to it.  Thanks, RP!
Nice to wake up to a lunar eclipse and 'Dark Side of the Moon'  Way to go!
Way to go Bill, I have absolutely no problem with back-to-back-to-back Pink Floyd.
The best live recording of "Money". Didn't hear it yet... Shame on me!
I think I heard Bill threaten to do this once... I went away to let Floyd play in the background and after a bit I'm going "Pink Floyd still playing?  Is it happening now?"  Sure enough. Although I'd probably opt for "Umma Gumma" or something unpalatable this is pretty cool. Keep on keepin' on Bill.
Wow. How could I have gone through the last 35 years without knowing this live recording existed? Great, simply great. Thanks again, Bill.

Thanks, Bill...  I don't think I've gotten any work done in the past half-hour!
Homerun!!!!!!
Will Bill go all the way
YES!!  Play on, Bill.
I didn't know what to think at first...heavy bassline was cool, but not sure. Then it continued and got a bit jazzy cool in the middle, then on to the end.
I like it!
I don't listen to commercial radio so I don't mind when "hits" are played on RP...I rather enjoy it even. I haven't heard Jumpin Jack Flash in ages. Or Money ....Until now.  The earlier studio version is better, anyway, imo. Is this really a "live" version after all the engineeers and mixers got done with it?
the vocals are not good, but the guitars are strong. good extended solo work. 8.
Maybe not the best live version of this song, but still 10 from me.
Hey , how bout playing Coming Back to Life sometimes? I love that song , don't think I've heard it here before
Least favorite track on DSOTM; I must admit that Gilmour's guitar is pretty sweet
Any way it is sliced, I have heard this FAR too many times.  I wish Bill had a 'burnout' rating button.
Now the screaming woman is another story..

...hey, i'm supposed to get this super-deluxe-edition in tomorrow's mail!..
hmmm...
