I suddenly find myself wondering if EMF's Unbelievable is on RP... or any EMF for that matter?
The thing I find 'Unbelievable' about this, is that it gets 'airplay'.

Unlike many albums recently published by other artists and bands, in "SuperHeavy" all songs that make up this album are original, of great artistic quality, creativity and good taste, innovation, varied rhythms, refined, appealing lyrics, and splendid execution. It is uncommon, and even surprising result when we look at the average age of the musicians involved (some end-of career!), the dynamic, effulgent and high level of puissance of this album. We can even say that practically all the songs are interesting, "usable", audible with satisfaction, with a high average level of quality.
17 "top-radio-songs"! It's always with his foot on the throttle. I did not want, but here goes: Where are these refined experts of the "Music GRAMMY", the whistle to the side?, do not mention this magnificent work, published on 16 September 2011? Is in reserve for 2012 session? ...... When to assert itself as an undeniable success. It's late, late and bad times. Then, i hope they'll put the guitar in bag.
Congratulations are also the Jim Henson Studios in Los Angeles, the high quality of the mixtures, editing and production. Impeccable.
And, to disappoint those who expected to see here a "species" extension or prolongation of the music of the Rolling Stones, because of the participation of one of its elements, Mick Jagger. Nothing like that. It's totally different. The structure of the music (Reggae-base, rhythms & orchestration with Latin-Indian elements) can sometimes give the feeling of being "commercial", I understand that, but I do not think, and in a more attentive hearing, concludes that it is a music of excellence, implemented superbly by great musicians.
The choice of singer Joss Stone, could be another singer, more mature, virtuous and charismatic? Could. But she might have a hard time interacting with the group, given the characteristics of the remaining members of this group, and the performance and availability of spirit that it would be expected. Joss thus settles in like a glove "SuperHeavy".
On the other hand, all the elements of the Rolling Stones, Mick is certainly always been the most "Jamaican", and perhaps the only one.
Therefore, such a project would be impossible with the actual formation of "The Rolling Stones".
I dare to speculate that Bob Marley himself, would like this music and even, perhaps, have participated in the "SuperHeavy". Unfortunately it's something we'll never know, for obvious reasons.
And beware, because this album creates addiction. More, is probably one of the best albums of the year 2011 (rock-reggae-fusion).

Is this entire album on the playlist? So far I just don't care for anything I've heard. Might as well play the entire thing so I can feel justified not paying a cent for it.

This was my first listen, and I like it! Tip o' the hat to Cynaera.
I like this song mostly for the Jamaican guy at the end. He makes me want to commit an act of violence. :P

Meh. I don't find that the voices mesh well, to my ears at least. Can't say I'm loving the whole sound either. Maybe other tracks are better?

Best part of this is the album cover by Shepard Fairey. The mixing pot approach to the music is just a gimmick that's only a ploy to sell records based on the names of the individuals involved. It's not very good.
I hear a little reggae beat in there, and that weird Vincent Price Thriller thing in the middle is sort of peculiar.

This is that new Supergroup with Mick Jagger, Joss Stone, and (Stephen?) Marley....heard them on XM the other day. I liked the song I heard that day much better than this one.

I did recognize Jagger's voice for a few ticks.. then it turned to something else. This track did make me stop what I was doing and click to so who that was, didn't know who they were, then Bill said Google ... HA!
