Always love hearing this, and anything from this album.
Unfortunate the process of doing it basically drove her to retirement but hopefully it's true she's getting back out there. If not, I have to try to stop by her cafe next time I'm near Ottawa.

I just saw Kathleen perform at the xponential festival in Camden over the weekend. She was fabulous, witty, and very entertaining. Great live performance.

A consistent feature of her recordings is the high standard she sets for the musical accompaniment. Everything sounds really sharp and complements her voice really well. Not everyone manages to do this with regularity.

For those unfamiliar with this beer, it has a nutty flavour, 8% alcohol content, is just ever so slightly sweet, and is a great sipping beer.
(You want to get hammered, drink something else.) I prefer Maudite to most Belgian beers. Just sayin'.

The album has leaked. It has 4 very good songs, the rest is average IMO.

Beautiful! The music produced by this artist and musicians that accompany it is fairly consistent, and has evolved and improvised, with imagination and ingenuity, on every album made to date. What about the future? "The future is not written". We shall see. Work, inspiration and good luck Kathleen.
